Zero, you shouldn’t compare apples to oranges.
Oh wait, I mean bananas to…what was it?
Oh, well, who cares - by next week it will be pears to potatos… But that still makes you an ultra-MAGA right wing conspiracy theorist!! Call the FBI!!

I am pretty sure the one on left is a female. Female dolphins are called “cows.” Therefore I see two cows.

I’m curious! Are you joshing us, or do you know something about Cetacean gender that isn’t obvious to the rest of us? :relaxed: Offhand, I’d say you’re just kidding. (Is there a pun in that, somewhere?)

There is some guess work on my my part. Sexual dimorphism in dolphins is not nearly as obvious as it is in humans or cattle but female bottlenose dolphins are smaller and slimmer than the males. However the only sure way to determine sex is by looking at the underside.

The male genital slit and anal slit are separate and form an “exclamation point.” In the female both are combined into a single slit but the there are two smaller slits to either side for nursing the young. This latter arrangement can be likened to a “divide-by” sign. The picture in the meme is not clear enough to be sure but, based on what I can see, my best guess is female.

Now, I am just a dumb 'ol engineer who reads too much and owns too many guns. A real expert in cetacean physiology might well tell me I am full of crap. Nevertheless, I took the opportunity to make the joke.

Here is some soft core cetacean porn that might help if you are ever in a situation where you need to sex a dolphin. The male is up and to the right of the female.
