They decided to just go ahead and do it

Just broke that Trump will be indicted over affair hush money to former porn star. Effing ridiculous…

Not a surprise, with these corrupt judges and juries.

Absolutely evil! I hope the protest is the most enormous - and effective - this country has ever seen.

The Democrats have launched a sort of blitzkrieg against our traditions, our Constitution, our culture (at least, our culture as it was), and every form of restraint that makes civil society possible. They have unleashed a wind, and seem serenely confident that they will never face a whirlwind. I don’t know, maybe they are right. I do know that after today, our country will never be the same again.
Today is an evil day in America’s history.
The Democrats are behaving like a party from a pre-Enlightenment, pre-constitutional era. Seeing themselves in the driver’s seat, they are making a naked grab for totalitarian power across a broad range of issues and institutions.
Indicting a former president on frivolous grounds is shocking, but it is of a piece with the strategies Democrats are following in Washington and across the country.

This is a Leninist-Stalinist regime. At this point, I fear for President Trump’s life.

I do too, Zerothruster.

Yes, exactly. It’s not from “a pre-constitutional era” - it’s straight out of the Stalin regime.
It’s been building to this point over a period of decades - ever since the communists started infiltrating our government (when McCarthy was accused of being on a witch hunt, but was right.)
Now that they have control of the government, no one should be surprised that they’re showing their true colors - pure evil, totalitarians.

We’re witnessing the death of the rule of law in America. We are closer to a totalitarian state than a democratic republic. Mark Levin weighed in on the news of Trump’s indictment on Hannity last night. He said: “This is a full-on assault on the Republican party, against Trump. It will be against other Republicans if they get away with this. The precedent has now been set. They have crossed the Rubicon into tyranny! “America, you are looking tyranny in the face right now.”
Sadly, it’s true.

Is it irony, or just fitting, that Biden, the fumbling, bumbling, senile old fool, was chosen by the PTB to be the “face” of that tyranny.

Soros-bought justice system.

“Professional assassination is the highest form of public service.” Chiun, “Remo Williams, The Adventure Begins.”

And then, I read Zerothruster’s post. I don’t think they will go that far. This is not the naive 60s, but then again, if it is a civil war that They really want, killing Trump would probably do it.

Trump mug-shot tee shirts in the planning.

Okay…trigger warning: Beck mentions God and prayer in a sentence within this video, but the rest is warning and indignation.

I think they will not hesitate to “go that far” if they don’t succeed in jailing him.

It’s not that Beck is wrong, Jeanne - he is usually right for the most part - it’s just that he is too darned self-dramatizing and emotional. He seems to be always on the edge of tears - and often falls into them.

I remember that from the days when I watched him on Fox. I very seldom watch him now. But I do watch at least part of the Beck videos you post. And I saw him with Tucker Carlson.

It’s certainly fitting. I doubt the PTB have a sense irony or even of humor - though they laugh with glee like the demons they are when they succeed in humiliating, wounding and murdering their victims.

Just warning that “god and prayer” were mentioned.

Beck is not always on the edge of tears, Jillian, but he is often on the edge of frustration and this week has been a long one. When he is on the edge of tears or falls into them, his audience usually is too. He is emotional, but what is he talking about; the loss of our country, the loss of our freedom, the future enslavement of our grandchildren, the destruction of our economy, the darkening of our energy, the poisoning of our bodies, the loss of America as a “beacon of freedom” to the rest of the world?

Of course, he and I and you get emotional over that, do we not? Consider also, that Beck has been living to warn us, to help us understand, and to witness the events of recent history, which has led America to the point it is for more than 20 years. That is what he feels his job is, and he feels that his job is directed by God, and he does it as best he can and often worries that he is not doing what he should do to get the job done well.

I am not defending his god belief, just his drive to do what he feels he must. And continue to do, no matter what he and his family must endure to see that it gets done. That is a strong faith, which we don’t accept, but I hope we can understand it. The outcome is the same, whether god exists or not.

I agree with Tucker, and have written before…and for many years… that I believe that Glenn Beck is one of the most important voices of this era, and that he will be seen as such by history, if history is allowed to be recorded in truth with facts.

Take what you will from him, leave the rest, but do not think Beck is only a emotional and sentimental, self-dramatizing pundit, who relishes his role. God appears much more in his radio show than ever before, and that he feels he needs to do, also. I accept that he is a devout Christian and he accepts that I am an atheist. There is only one thing needed to be his friend, to be on his side…and that is to love America and love the Bill of Rights. All are welcome based only upon those two things, in his life and on BlazeTV. Well…and truth. Truth-telling is required to be on BlazeTV. As he used to say, “The truth has no agenda.”

That’s a long defense. A panegyric.

If Beck ever says anything original, anything many others have not said and are not saying, please let me know.

We may all feel emotional about the political horrors that have descended on us, but most of us don’t see any point in weeping and wailing, raising a howl in lament, beating our breasts, tearing our hair and ripping our garments - before a large audience.

Beck’s God-bothering-Jesus-slobbering is the purple coloring of his sentimentality, the high violin squealing of his public suffering. Daily he mounts the cross of his self-imposed martyrdom.

For a contrast with Beck, watch and attend to Stephen Miller. Thinker. Explainer. Calm intelligent analyzer. Shh! Listen. Learn. Reason is the only means to success.

It’s the old Heart versus Head debate. Head should win among the mature.

Beckism versus Millerism: Thick sticky emotionality versus hard strategic thinking.

Tucker Carlson is more and more often invoking “God”. He started off very well. Sensible. Eloquent, Humorous. Dry. But now - at least when discussing some subjects - he is getting wetter and wetter.

I agree with both you and Jillian about Beck.
Jillian prefers Millers demeanor to Becks, as Beck does tend to get emotional at times, which can be offputting.
That could be why I’m more of a Bannon fan. Both he and Beck probably share the same views on the subjects they cover, but Bannon’s more matter-of-fact in his delivery.
But I agree with you that Beck is doing alot of good through his work and is sincerely dedicated to saving the country.
I think it’s really just differences in personality and style.

Thank you, Liz. Yes, it’s a matter of taste.

As I’ve said before. There can be no disputing about taste.
