I just mentioned this in a comment on your other post! They’ve become a Gestapo. They have no interest in law and order, or even an appearance of fairness. They want to intimidate the opposition.
They had to cheat to win the last election, and it looks like on the next one they’re just going to abuse their power like gangsters, and turn to intimidation and terrorization of the opposing candidates and voters.
They’ve already done this with Tina Peters, Rudy Guiliani, Peter Navarro, Roger Stone, and Paul Manafort, among others, and now Trump.

I predicted after the last election that the fascistic deep state would hound Mr. Trump until he dies or is imprisoned. I suspect we will soon see him cuffed and perp walked. His children may be next.

This is absolutely key. It is task Number 1, Number 2, Number 3 …
If we do this, there will be a huge change. Not just in terms of possible legislation initiated, or blocked, but in the political mood of the country.
Patriots will be energized. Fence-sitters will move to the Right. Anti-Patriots will be demoralized. (And hopefully their more extreme members will be goaded into doing something stupid.)
On the other hand, if we lose in November, or just come more or less even … the Left will take heart.
That’s why they’re pulling out all the stops now. Expect any ‘plants’ inside patriotic groups, in particular the militias, to start trying to push them into ‘doing something’, the ‘something’ being something that will get them arrested.
But … God can’t give this to us, because … well, everyone here knows why.
And there is no ‘secular God’, no hidden hand of history, which says the good guys always win… or even that they always win n the end. If Hitler had been a bit smarter, less impulsive, less of a gambler … we could be approaching the 90th year of the Thousand-Year Reich.
It’s our own will, our personal determination, that counts.
So, what to do? Let’s discuss it in another thread. We’ve got about two and a half months.

Yes, we must hold them accountable.
But they know that we plan to, and they know how angry people have become as they have shown their true colors. They know they’re in trouble.
That’s why they’re resorting to the Banana Republic tactics, and I have a feeling it will only get worse as the elections get closer.

We must assume that the Biden administration did in fact know about this plan and approved it or nudged the proper authorities to do something bold such as this. Why?
Why would they poke the “deplorables” and “domestic terrorist” groups and “white supremacy” groups? Why would they seek to “make a martyr” out of Trump? Why would they remove him and leave DeSantis to become the heir apparent to the presidency? DeSantis would garner more support than Trump.
What is their end game in all of this? Do you think they want a larger example of Jan. 6? Do you think they planned to reveal to their followers and others just how dangerous Trump supporters really are? Do you think they would really-really like a civil war to begin with attacks by the Right?
Why didn’t they subpoena Trump for these boxes of documents? Why this surprise raid? The US doesn’t do this to former presidents. What are they really trying to do?
Listened to Beck and Mike Lee and Alan Dershowitz this morning. All of the above encapsulates their discussion in the first 2 hours about the raid.
The response to this outrageous raid by doing anything other than voting them into oblivion would only play into their plans to declare a civil emergency and end any revolutionary actions before they can begin. November is near. If they cannot justify what they have done…and that is going to be extremely difficult…then this raid has only escalated any reasoning for supporting Trump, and should draw independents and democrats to the cause of saving America.
Yes, all this thinking is flavored by Beck, Lee and Dershowitz, but it makes good sense to question the why and to ponder the end game plan of the Left’s decision to plan this outrageous departure from the normal manner in how former presidents are treated.

Our present Democrats have shown, from the beginning of Trumps presidency til now, that they love staging dramatic show trials, arrests, riots, health emergencies - all a farce, but it’s what THEY think is an effective way to ruin their opposition.
It has to a large degree backfired on them, making them look like the petty dictators they are.
This raid on Trumps home is just more of the same, and exposes them even more as the real “threat to our democracy”.
So, why did they do it? Because they’re idiots.
But still a threat, because they’re idiots with power.
