Independence Day Question, July 4, 2024

Weakened as it still was by the comparatively mild Clinton infection, the United States became profoundly sick with the Obama disease in January 2009.

The nation rallied and enjoyed a healthy four years under the leadership of Donald Trump from January 2017 to January 2021.

But the aggressive Obama disease returned with the presidency of Biden.

In November this year, will a majority of voters choose health or lethal illness, Trump or Biden?

What is your prognosis?

I predict that a majority of voters will choose to save the Republic from certain death by voting for Trump. But whether we actually get what we vote for is a different question.
The parasitic criminals who are sucking the life out of the Republic aren’t going to let go of their “golden goose” without a dirty fight, featuring more lying, cheating and stealing than ever before.

The American and French revolutions are still playing out all this time later.

We did not fight a revolution to build a system that would make us equal by leveling everyone else. This was not a revolution of equity, but of liberty, not a scheme to control others through the state, but to liberate all of us from the state. That unfulfilled revolution is at the heart of the slow civil war in which America finds itself on the 248th anniversary of our fight for freedom.

248 years later the fight goes on.

The legacies of the two revolutions are still at war in our government and our society. As we celebrate the 248th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, let us do all that we can so that it is the American Revolution, and not the French Reign of Terror, that prevails here.

Wow. Greenfield’s book is such a great history lesson - every American should be required to read it - along with the rest of American history, which isn’t taught anymore, since our schools are now controlled by the very Left which Washington warned us about.
And now they control not only the institutions they “marched” through, but the State itself.

Personally, I think the evidence strongly favors a conclusion that the American people made the choice for health in 2020. Fat lot of good it did us. Maybe it will work out better this time: Trump wins and we will find the interregnum put some spine in the true conservatives. Four year will not demolish the Deep State but maybe we can mortally wound it.

If so, my fervent hope is that the butcher bill won’t be too high.

I agree, linuxhitman.

Except … “for health”? Whose health?

I was just using your similes of “health” versus “lethal illness.” Perhaps I misunderstood your intent,.

My apologies, linuxhitman!

I must be beginning to get old.

Now that I’ve been woken up properly, I appreciate your comment all the more.
