He’s touching all the bases in the effort to make Biden look bad. In this case, he may not be wrong.
And Biden really doesn’t need any help looking bad - he’s doing a great job of that all by himself.

Putin made the comment sometime in June 2021, before a summit with Biden (in anticipation of any finger-wagging Biden might do about Putin’s suppression of political dissent in Russia). Why does Posobiec want to give the impression this is a post-invasion comment and relevant to the Ukrainian war? It is relevant only to American election alignments - which is skewing and trivializing the entire discussion of this geo-political crisis. Does he cite this comment as an example of Putin’s “disinformation/conspiracy theories” aimed against Biden - i.e. sending the message that Putin is still Trump’s BFF to discredit the patriotism of that faction of conservatives who supported Trump but who do not want to support Ukraine against Russia (Tucker Carlson and other “Putin lovers” )? Posobiec is iffy.
