UK - One in 20 eligible children have Covid jabs amid lacklustre take-up

Almost a bit of good news for a change.

There’s a paywall. So please tell us - why is it “good news”?

Because ONLY one child in 20 gets Covid jabbed?

Isn’t it bad news that ANY children get Covid jabbed?

Indeed I wrote almost just because of that. I think it’s good news that the other 19 out of 20 didn’t get jabbed, and actually I’m surprised such a high percentage weren’t jabbed, it suggests to me that there might be more doubts about the jabs out there particularly among parents and possibly among younger people more generally.

Likewise I am appalled to see a few people still wearing masks out and about in towns and shops, but glad to see they are just a few.

I don’t have a login I was just going by the headline and assuming as it’s the Times that it’s probably true.

Yes, it looks like a sign that more people are having doubts about it, which is great news.
But yes, some people are still wearing masks (some so deranged about it that they’re still harrassing those who don’t!), and there are still people who are following the line of lemmings over the cliff for the vaccines.
