Trump, Man of Destiny

Quote:
At this point, the regime has nothing. If they cheat, they lose all legitimacy. If they put Trump in jail, they lose all legitimacy. If they kill Trump, they lose legitimacy. If they provoke a nuclear strike or false flag, they will lose legitimacy AND set off a chain reaction of events that they will have no control over—to say nothing of all the dead bodies they would have to pile up.

In light of this situation, the left has no good options. Biden is cooked. There are no meaningful alternatives. Trump is strong and getting stronger. At this point, a blowout victory for the Teflon Don is the most likely outcome.

Trump is a man of destiny. His victory this November has always felt inevitable. The arc of history is long, but it bends towards Orange Man, descending in triumph onto our decadent capital as the shrieks of libtards fill the air.

Winning is going to feel so good. In fact, it already feels great.

Liberals, get those passports ready. You have six months.

Comment:
A Trump victory in November is devoutly to be wished.
I wish it.
But I know that “stuff happens”.
May it be helpful stuff for Trump and America!

Since when has losing “legitimacy” ever stopped a communist? They’ve already lost any legitimacy, when Trump won in a “blowout victory” LAST time, and they stole it with every obvious trick in the book.
They don’t care. All they care about is power, and they intend, now that they have it, to keep it “by any means necessary”.

Josiah Lippincott writes, “there is no mechanism to force Biden out without his consent, which he won’t give.” I thought, “He’s got to be wrong about that. The 25th Amendment can be used…” But looking into the Wikipedia article on it, Section 4 of that amendment is not a slam-dunk even when the Vice President and majority of cabinet members (as provided in the section) agree that Biden is unable to discharge his duties due to mental impairment. Biden can use provisions in the section to contest that majority and retain authority until the question is adjudicated by the congress, where 2/3 majorities in both houses would be required to turn authority over to the Vice President - a very unlikely outcome in this case.

On another note about 25th amendment, there is a statute about replacing a presidential candidate late in the election season, either in a case of death of the candidate, or successful execution of the 25th amendment. But again, that would require Biden’s cooperation or congressional supermajority approval.

We often heard “the 25th amendment!” during the Trump presidency as if that would have been an obvious and easy option for Meek Ponce and turncoat cabinet members to remove Orange Man Bad. But it seems clear that the framers of that amendment intended it to be used successfully only in the most extraordinary of circumstances - not to be taken advantage of by a palace coup.

Thanks for that, Zerothruster.

So they’re stuck with him.

Good. I want him to be humiliatingly trounced by Trump in November, and then to remain officially president until Trump is inaugurated. So the empty cackling Kamala won’t have even half a minute of being president.

Not necessarily… The Democrats have arranged to officially nominate their presidential candidate by an online Zoom meeting of the delegates on 21 July. Then the August 19-22 convention will be a formality. The reason they initially gave for planning this was a technicality about getting the nominee official in time to get on the ballot in Ohio. But weak RINO Republican Ohio governor DeWine noticed the problem and took measures to resolve the democrats’ problem - so their initial excuse for early nomination is now irrelevant. But they may now take the opportunity to use the Zoom meeting as a modern-day digital “smoke-filled room” of backroom deal making and so forth.

Also, Bill O’Reilly and Tucker Carlson both say that their confidential sources claim that Biden will soon be replaced as dem candidate. According to O’Reilly, Ron Klain and Barry HO have approached Biden about a replacement. Of course that would require Biden’s cooperation.

Interestingly, Hunter Biden has been keeping Joe company in the White House since this past weekend.

Judge Juan Merchan has moved the sentencing from 11 July as originally scheduled until after the GOP convention. I think that may have to do with the Supreme Court decision about presidential immunity. It may be a way to give Merchan more time to come up with ways to insure his ability to give Trump a maximum sentence.

edit: But clearly the democrats are in a state of disorientation and disarray at this juncture.
Mika Brzezinski defended Biden yesterday morning in a 15 minute monologue…

The situation is completely unpredictable, but it does seem as though the Democrats are stuck with Biden.

They can have a different nominee but not depose Biden - let him see out his term.
