Too Little CO2? Oh, the Irony!

Acute food shortages were feared last night after high gas prices forced most of Britain’s commercial production of carbon dioxide to shut down.
Emergency talks were being held between government officials and food producers, retailers and the energy industry.
The closure of two fertiliser plants in northern England and others in Europe has left the food and drink industry facing a shortage of carbon dioxide, which is a byproduct of fertilizer manufacturing. The gas is critical to the production and transport of a range of products, from meat to bread, beer and fizzy drinks.
The fertilizer plants shut down because of sky-high energy costs.
Gas prices in Britain hit record highs this week on fears of energy supply shortages in the winter.
Because of giving up coal, reducing gas, and relying on wind.
CF Industries, an American manufacturer of agricultural fertilizers, said on Wednesday that it was halting operations at its sites in Billingham, Teesside, and Ince, Cheshire, because of high gas prices. The two sites produce about 40 per cent of Britain’s fertilizer needs and account for 60 per cent of domestic production of commercial CO2. Sites in Europe are also halting operations.
The CO2 shortage piles further pressure on a food sector already struggling with a shortage of haulers. Companies have warned they may have to cut back the range of products on supermarket shelves in the run-up to Christmas.
The CO2 shortage also means a mounting animal welfare crisis. More than 200,000 pigs will soon be crammed onto farms because farmers have been unable to send them to slaughter.

I just can’t believe they are still going on with this ridiculously stupid, bogus crap to the point of causing such serious consequences.
The elites came up with it as a way to destroy capitalism and replace it with a socialist “utopia” - which will only be a utopia for them because they’ll have control over everyone.
It’s we, the people, that must suffer the terrible consequences of their schemes, like freezing for lack of power in the winter, and food shortages.
This actually kills people, but as we’ve seen with the lockdowns and vaccines, they don’t care!

The energy price crisis is hitting the news here, the BBC had this as the top story on the front page:

edit: there is something on potential food shortages further down.

It starts to feel as if we are about to lurch from crisis to crisis, meanwhile the completely unnecessary jabbing of children is beginning.

Getting jab helps to keep my family safe, says teenager

Neil Oliver used to be a BBC tv personality on a popular program called Coast, now he has joined the resistance. He makes an inspiring speech in this short clip, talking about the coming winter and the loneliness and isolation many have been feeling:

He also spoke out against the jabbing of children in another clip.

For those not aware of it, GB News is a new TV channel which means that finally we have a sort of conservative TV channel. Nigel Farage has a slot.

Yeah I heard about Nigel Farage joining GB News, which is good, the bad news is that after Andrew Neil quit GB News, he went back to BBC to trash talk GB News, basically backstabbing them.

I don’t have a very high opinion of Andrew Neil to be honest with you, and he is not that well regarded by many ordinary conservatives here. For one thing he made a little rant after the Manchester Arena atrocity but he called the attackers “Islamists” as if they had nothing to do with Islam.

GB News seems to be doing alright regardless of Andrew Neil, there has been of course a lot of propaganda against it from the usual suspects. Hopefully they’ve got the finances to keep going because it’s definitely a step in the right direction.

I don’t think much of him either and I couldn’t care less about him quitting, but what bothers me is that he helped launched the whole thing and now goes back to the BBC to smear them.

Here’s Lotus Eaters also doing a commentary on it.

Sums him up pretty well really. We definitely need to see more of Neil Oliver and less of Andrew Neil on TV.

That was good! Learned alot about the leftist/conservative divide in Britain. So much like what’s going on in the U.S.

A horrible thought just dawned on me. An energy crisis at this point in time is going to mean old people feeling the cold over the winter, and lo and behold the “COVID-19” numbers will suddenly shoot up, the perfect excuse for another “lockdown”, vaccine passports will be introduced (they kept them as an option) etc… It’s almost as if the whole thing were planned really …

Yes, I think so. They “never let a crisis go to waste”, whether they planned it ir not.
But most of it is of their making.
Of which this one takes the cake - they concoct the fake crisis of “man-made-global warming” as an excuse to destroy the economy and capitalism, which creates an actual crisis of fuel supply, poverty, and death, which they can then blame on covid, as an excuse for more lockdowns and economic destruction! An endless cycle.

Chauncey, I hear that Russia is holding Europe hostage by way of their new pipeline and availability of petroleum. What do you hear?

That’s about it for me, too, along with some German. And I guess any Brownie points I’d get for my one Cherokee great grandmother would be canceled out by my great grandfather who fought on the Confederate side in the Civil war!

Well, our ancestors did what they did, but Native Americans are not without sin.

I found this out when researching my husband’s Indian heritage.

Let’s face it; probably every ethnicity/race/whatever has owned slaves or been slaves at some period in time. But that would be interesting to find out…
