Please only post SHORT videos. Preferably under 5 minutes, maximum 10.
Who has the time and patience to watch a video that goes on for an hour, let alone two or three hours?
What idea suitable for a discussion forum needs an hour or more to be explained? Or even explored?
If anyone wants to listen at length to eg. Steve Bannon or Glenn Beck, they can easily access them for themselves.
Certainly there are exceptions. There may on very rare occasions be a long video on which everything that is to be seen and/or heard is of the greatest importance. If one of that sort is posted, a line above it stating that it is of exceptional importance, and why, would be necessary.
Every video should be posted separately so that each has its own REPLY button for the convenience of commenters. And every video should be posted with some indication of why it is being posted.
We do not censor. We ASK that discussion be carried on without obscenities. We ASK that videos be short and posted singly. We ASK that new topics be introduced with some indication of what point the member who posts it wants to put to us. We do not want to be overwhelmed with towers of articles or videos. Especially not videos! If a member consistently ignores our requests, we may reluctantly have to resort to a temporary silencing of that member.
Finally, we stress that we are grateful for contributions, appreciate thoughtful, well informed, critical, or questioning comment - and good jokes - and thank you for your kind attention to this notice.
