This is scandalizing, meaning it’s a dramatic presentation of unanalyzed “facts” to elicit a particular emotional reaction.
“Control” is an emotionally loaded word.
One needs to ask: Are some of the news outlets better than others? More balanced, allowing more variety of opinion, providing greater coverage, regardless of who “controls” them?
