Why the opening of the southern border for the admittance of millions of aliens? Why were they not required to be vaccinated against Covid as American residents were (though should not have been, of course). What was the purpose of the anti-America policies of the Leftist “Democrat” government?
Victor Davis Hanson ponders why and finds no convincing answer:

But I do know that never [before] in the history of the United States, within four years, did the government, by intent, destroy the border, welcome in 12 million people [as they did] during the first year of a COVID-19 lockdown, where all of us had to be very careful, wear masks, and have proof of vaccination, with no audit at all of the people who were not [legally] here.

Of all the possibilities he presented as answers, I would say, “all of the above”.
But it’s not inexplicable. It’s very predictable, actually, if you recognize that the people causing it to happen are globalist communists (or fascists, or whatever you want to call them).
They want power and control of the world in a “New World Order”, with a “One World Government”.
(I don’t need a tin foil hat to say that anymore - they admit themselves now!)
Nations are to be reduced to “economic zones”, and we will all be reduced to ‘owning nothing, and being happy’ in our pods under their surveillance.
So of course they want to erase borders and flood the zone with a permanent welfare class who will vote for the party of “government cheese” forever.
And overwhelm the system and cause chaos and collapse a la “Cloward Piven”, and require Martial Law and dictatorship, etc, etc…
