The Sovietization of America

I disagree with the view that Secularism is a step towards Communism, because a civilization controlled by Religion don’t guarantee freedom, with the history of Medieval wars and ‘convert or die’ tactics.

I like a lot of what Maltsev says. I’m glad he points out that Karl Marx was not smart. Engels was the more intelligent of the two. (Though both were wrong!). Also - more importantly - he points out the fallaciousness of the Marxist claim that the pattern of oppressors/oppressed characterizes all human history. The only thing that changes, according to that doctrine, is who fills the roles of oppressor and oppressed. Now the Left declares Whites are the oppressors and Blacks are the oppressed. The lethal theory is yet again causing disaster in practice.

And I agree with you that religion is not an antidote to oppression and war, but a cause of both.

Yes, if anyone has been the oppressor in history it’s been the followers of Karl Marx.

Christians never fail to conflate secularism and atheism with everything bad that exists, and especially with communism.
For the same reason, they have a hard time understanding the necessity and importance of the separation of Church and State.
Fortunately the Founders could see it.
