That’s a great article! And what a tragically accurate prediction by Carl Sagan.
The worst part of the tragedy is that, in the past, they had the legitimate excuse of a lack of scientific knowledge and reasoning.
Today we don’t have that excuse, and yet we’re still sliding into the same mentality of allowing those in “authority” to do all our thinking for us.

And remember how that lack came about, Liz? Christianity. Humanity lost so much knowledge as Christianity spread and destroyed civilizations, traditions, books, science and people.

I do miss Carl Sagan.
