Do you know the name of the writer, Yazmin? Anything about him/her?
What I know of her is that that her name is Kassandra Troy and that she lived in both the Netherlands and Greece (she currently lives in Greece). She’s been writing articles about this stuff since 2005.
Thanks, Yazmin. That might explain why she makes mistakes when she writes English. Not important. But her survey of what is happening “geopolitically”, and her generalizations about the future are too vague in this article to be very valuable. That the balance of power is changing is true. Of its nature, it changes.
She is right that some of the new alliances - especially between Israel and a growing number of Arab states - promises well. And India, I agree, should play a bigger role in the world.
