The Republican Party Will Not Save Us

Quote:
The country will continue its downward path into depravity, waste, weakness, and oblivion. The Democrats have been leading this charge for decades. The Republican Party is—was—our only hope for stopping the bleeding. But RINOs are…Republicans In Name Only. Which means they are actually Democrats. And the Republican Party belongs to them, not you. Don’t expect any positive movement upward in the country any time soon. Leaders lead and the leadership in both parties is committed to its own power, prestige, and privilege above the welfare of the nation. The plunge into destruction will continue. How long will it be before we reach the point of no return, if we haven’t already?
You and I are tired of losing. We are tired of losing elections, and more than that, we are tired of losing the country we love. But, to the Republican elite establishment, this isn’t about winning or losing, and it has nothing to do with the well-being of the citizens or the strength of the United States. It is solely about keeping their privileged positions. They are weak, small people, totally selfish, totally self-centered, given only to their own self-aggrandizement. They weaseled their way into power and now we can’t get them out.

Yes, that’s about how I see it. The RINOS won again. I’ve read that Dhillon wasn’t much less of a Rino than McDaniels, anyway.
And the thing is, even if Lindell had won, would it have really done any good? What does it matter what person or “strategy” we use, if our opponents are going to cheat their way to victory anyway?
Like he said, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. We’ve done it twice now - in 20 and 22 - running against a rigged election system and expecting to win.
And now we’re supposed to do it all over again in 24, with the same system in place??

Dhillon also a RINO? I hadn’t heard that.

How is it possible that so many Americans are blind to this?

I think I read it at “The Conservative Treehouse”.

I found this video through an article at The Conservative Treehouse:

Dhillon says some sensible things, I thought.

The one I read was an older post. He speculated that, since Harmeet was paid $1million by the RNC, she’s beholden to the big establishment donors, and entered the race as “insurance” for them to make sure that Lindell didn’t win.

Did you find the argument convincing?

Did Lindell ever stand a chance?

Yes, although I can’t know for sure if it’s true, I thought his argument made sense. It’s hard to know, in so many cases, who’s genuine and who’s just pretending to be sincere.
Of course Lindell didn’t stand a chance, even though polls show he actually had alot of popular support. But since the vote was limited to only the delegates of the RNC, and most of them are already sold out to the Rinos, they voted to maintain the “status quo”.

This is the dilemma; that we cannot support the GOP, but must support individual conservative constitutionalists or libertarian constitutionalists over RINOs and Leftist.

Are Democrats all Leftists? Too risky to vote for any, right?

Are Republicans all RINOs? We have to support and fund the individuals that are not RINOs one by one in various states. And hope that there is a stand-out among the Republicans that run for President.

And, then, of course, hope that the election is not fraught with fraud. My head hurts…

I used to donate to the RNC, but have refused for the past couple of years. They still call me, and I tell them “I’m not interested in Ronna Romney McDaniel’s RNC”. Harmeet Dhillon should organize an alternate RNC to facilitate and expedite MAGA’s rise and insurrection within the Republican Party. The establishment rinos are disgusting. We can’t even count on our senators or congressmen to hold the line.

That rumor about Harmeet is implausible in my view… partly because I don’t think clown-world Lindell ever had a chance, though he had claimed God was going to make it happen. Such clowns usually do, like Doug Mastriano in PA or Don Bolduc in NH. We have many such deluded religious clowns for candidates. And we learn from this that a Republican candidate’s retired military rank (general or colonel, admiral or captain, O-6 or above) is no evidence of impressive intelligence or wisdom. But back to the point – I trust Harmeet’s sincerity as well as her competence and potential for effective leadership.

Mark Lewis’s train runs off the track when he says, “But I’m not going to vote for some useless RINO the Republican establishment will try to ram down my throat, either. … Maybe I will write my own name in. If we don’t vote for the RINO, that means Biden will almost surely win…” A lot of conservatives out there strike this too-clever-by-half pose or something similar. Given a choice between the rino and the democrat, we still have to vote for the rino rather than cede the seat to a democrat who will hold that office for at least two years and gain the advantage of incumbency in perpetuity. Withholding your vote out of childish resentment at the establishment is like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Yes, the religious belief they hold is “clownish”, but even with that, those men are still 1000% better than the alternative. Mastriano, for example, had solidly practical, common sense plans to combat leftist lunacy as governor of Pennsylvania.
Much better than a Rino alternative, and so much better than Fetterman it’s no contest.
Same thing with Lindell. Yes, he’s religious, but he’s also a successful businessman, like Trump.
And religion is only clownish to atheists, who are a minority among MAGA voters. It’s pretty much a requirement for the majority.

Yes, you are absolutely right on, Damon. Voting for a third party or not voting IS voting for the Leftist. My head still hurts…

Lindell is a successful businessman, but not at all like Trump. Trump was never a homeless, loser addict, who pulled himself up by his bootstraps, as well as, his faith. Lindell may be devoutly religious, but he is no fool when it comes to what a Constitutional Republic should be and how we need to drag the country back to being one. And, he is trusted by people, who understand how he turned his life completely around, such that he became the man he is now; a philanthropic, successful businessman, who is a powerful witness to his faith. I admire him.

I agree that the way he turned his life round is much to be admired.

But.

I agree with most of what you said about Lindell, except for the bit about “a powerful witness to his faith”. I can’t understand your perspective about that. Lindell is actually very intelligent… and… but… impressive intelligence does not seem to be, necessarily, a hallmark for emotional stability or cognitive realism (i.e., protective against delusion, etc.). He is devoted to exposing the 2020 election theft, and he has done a lot of good work especially related to the vote-processing machines (Dominion, especially). But his eccentricities, especially his religious zeal, makes him a poor advocate (even to the typical believer, I think), and an embarrassment to the causes he champions. So, on balance, he’s still kind of a useless clown. And his up-front media presence (and the way it can be exploited or ridiculed by the left media) tends to steal attention away from much more credible and thorough (very thorough) advocates like Seth Keshel, who had appeared at Lindell’s election theft seminar.
