The Left's Use of Intimidation

Quote:
Rather than representing the will of a majority outraged by a Supreme Court decision, groups like Shutdown D.C. and Ruth Sent Us are better seen as radical mercenaries-for-hire paid to create the appearance of broad civil outrage. It’s unsurprising with disapproval numbers hovering around 60 percent, the Biden Administration prefers to define democracy as the stage-crafted outrage of the professional radicals.
But having normalized a system of harassment and coercion in response to its feverish Trump Derangement Syndrome, elements of the Left are increasingly willing to apply this tool any time they suffer a policy setback. Having brought onto stage the weapon of political intimidation, the Left intends to use it at every turn.

Yes, they’re proving what they really are.
They’re not “activists” - they are nothing more than Agitprop, paid for by Soros.
It’s how Communists and Nazis have always operated.

Although there are plenty of exceptions, conservatives are typically peaceful and nonconfrontational. We have careers, we have families, we generally don’t have an arrest record and don’t want to start one. When we are confronted by the violence and intimidation of the left, we generally don’t respond in kind. This is, in most cases, a good thing; the left would love nothing more than for us to react as they do, so they can point fingers and accuse us of being the violent thugs that they actually are.

This passive reaction encourages the mob to even greater violence and destruction, and they continue to up the ante and push the boundaries, trying to provoke us.

Eventually, though, they will push to the point that even the most peace-loving and non-violent among us will have had enough. I suspect that, when that happens, the push back from conservatives will take the left by surprise. On that day, they will regret calling for a Marxist revolution, regret calling for war.

The push back will come? I can’t tell you how fervently I hope you are right, Billy!
