Like Bawer, I wish I could have as much faith as Navarro that the truth will come out in the end.
The extent of Chinese influence, and the resulting corruption it has produced, is appalling.
Whether “operation warp speed” was really a good thing or not is highly debatable, considering what we’re learning about vaccine side effects.
In hindsight I would say that those who advised not to make a big deal out of it were right, which, weirdly, included Fauci at the beginning, but then he changed his tune (I guess he saw dollar signs in the vaccine sales).
But there’s no question the virus was used as a weapon to destroy the economy with lockdowns and derail Trumps presidency.
