Excerpt from Victor Davis Hanson’s article:

So, the Democratic political establishment of Nancy Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries, and Chuck Schumer, the Obama consortia, and the Hollywood, Wall Street, and tech billionaire insiders quickly devised strategies to get Harris elected. And that too was not easy.

Given what they had to work with, their efforts centered around avoiding all press conferences, interviews, and unscripted talks. She is to stay wide of anything that might expose her inanity to the public or remind the nation of her dismal record as vice president and the disastrous Biden tenure that she co-owns and loudly, emphatically, and proudly so. …

So here we are, witnessing the most anti-democratic effort in modern electoral history—a full-fledged, tripartite effort to:
a) keep Harris silent and out of the public eye, and outsource her persona and views to a corrupt fusion media, to billionaire-funded ad campaigns, and to political surrogates
b) superimpose pseudo-conservative views upon her lifelong record of leftist advocacies and policies—a brief 70-day transformation designed to fool a voting public for which Democratic grandees harbor utter contempt
c) reinvent the campaign from Harris versus Trump to fixations on Donald Trump as a Satanic figure that justifies any means necessary to defeat and destroy him

Will the ruse work?

The most important question is, I think, different. It is

WHY?

Why does anyone want that silly weak cowardly woman who needs to be kept like a marionette in a closet to be elected to the presidency of the United States, the most powerful position in the world?

Because they intend to run the country from behind the throne/curtain? The Cackling Black Woman who will see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing? That’s their vision for the governing of this nation?

WHY?

They could commission the creation of a robot which could be made to sound better than the Cackler. Claim it won the election by 99%. And guard it on its Oval Office chair for as long as it takes to destroy the world. As it seems they want to do. But

WHY?

Yes, they do want to run the country - actually the world - from behind the curtain. And you’re probably right about the robot - the tech oligarchs AI dream!
As to why - well do lunatics need a reason?
It’s illustrated well in one of Powerline’s recent “Week in Pictures” memes - a picture of Bill Gates with a caption explaining the word “Philanthropath”, which is “a psychopath masquerading as a philanthropist”. That sums it up pretty well!

And now, on top of all the lies, fraud and election interference the DOJ is perpetrating to get Harris “elected”, they are bringing charges (again!) that Russia is interfering with our elections by using a conservative media company to push “disinformation” that favors Trump.
Even if it’s true, it is quite selective of them to prosecute that while ignoring their own, and the Democrats, corruption, interference and obstruction of Trump, not to mention the vast infiltration and influence of the CCP on our politicians and government.
I can only think that their “outing” of Hochul’s top aide was a token gesture to cover themselves.
