The crumbling edifice of the US and the West approach the abyss

" That a line about “the First Amendment hamstringing the government” was uttered by one Supreme Court Justice is astonishing enough. Listening as none of the other eight pointed out that the entire purpose of the First Amendment is to “hamstring” government from interfering in speech was like watching someone drive a tank back and forth over Old Yeller. I needed a bite-stick by the end of the hearing."

Is it possible that anyone still thinks that the US can survive this, that the West can survive this?

" Six-point-three million is New Hampshire plus Montana, the Dakotas, Alaska, Wyoming… You wonder why the Democrats are so keen to get rid of the Electoral College? Because they’re importing three new states every year."

No, it will not survive this. Unless this could all be reversed immediately, which obviously is not going to happen, since it’s all being done by our government to begin with, we’re headed for collapse.
That’s the whole point of it.
What’s so frustrating about the Supreme Court is not just that the judges our leftist presidents have managed to install have each been more dangerously stupid than the last, but that the “conservative” ones, who we hang our hopes on to save the day, so often fail to have the spine to do that.

I agree. It is the end. We will soon be in a new Islamo-Marxist Dark Age. Even Trump, if he manages to avoid death, prison, and election stealth, will be unable to restore our liberties.

Maybe there will pockets of freedom in the darkened world. An independent Republic of Florida, perhaps of Texas …

Argentina?

Czech Republic? Hungary?

One can always hope, of course, but the evidence of the Christian Dark Age indicates otherwise.
