Reports from Afghanistan early Sunday morning indicated the U.S. Bagram air base has been surrendered to Taliban terrorists.
The site is also a prison housing 5,000 inmates, and it houses hundreds of vehicles left behind in July by U.S. and NATO forces.
The Associated Press reports the district chief handed the American base over to the terrorists.
The prison housed both Taliban and Islamic State group terrorist fighters who are now free.
