It was like being conned in a shell game.
They started with “it’s safe and effective” and “it prevents transmission”, through a long series of other lies until in the end, the admission that well, yes, there were some rare (actually off the charts) side effects (like death!) and it didn’t really prevent transmission, but-but-but - it was still good.
And oh yes did I mention they were LYING??
People are still dying, but they all made lots of money, sabotaged the election, culled the world’s population, and gained control.
