The vote on the main resolution is as follows:

For: 153

Against: 10

Abstaining: 23

The resolution has passed by a large majority, securing the needed two-thirds of members. Widespread applause rings out around the General Assembly Hall.

Those voting against were the US, Israel, Austria, Czechia, Guatemala, Liberia, Micronesia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea and Paraguay.

Among those abstaining were the UK, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Argentina, Malawi, the Netherlands, Ukraine, South Sudan, and Uruguay.

.

So much for the Abraham Accords. So much for Europe (with two honourable exceptions). So much for the Anglosphere. So much for Ukraine (which has never voted to support Israel in any UN vote). So much for moral clarity.

What exactly was the Resolution?

The UN flunkies demanded an immediate cease fire in Gaza.

Oh, yes. I’m surprised the U.S. voted against it, actually. I was encouraged the other day to see at least one congressman call for our withdrawal from the UN. But I doubt anything will come of it.
It’s a disgrace.

I remember Trump promising to expel the UN and convert the building to condos. Alas
