Why not just ban TikTok…or let the user beware and let their parents beware. The RESTRICT Act, as the Patriot Act (a slippery slope) before it, may have more use against US citizens than against TikTok. I mean, I kind of agree with the TikTok president (?) that US companies already use their sites to gather all sorts of information on their users. Do they sell the info to foreign powers, such as, China? Of course they wouldn’t…right? I hate TikTok and most social platforms that abuse our youth, but what is the plan here for the Feds to use the RESTRICT Act? Do we trust them?

I don’t trust the Feds not to abuse it. Just ban Tic Tock.
