Redistribution will not end poverty and hunger

The Left likes to pretend that the rich are rich because the poor are poor, and vice versa. (Whereas, in fact, wherever the rich are richest in a capitalist economy, the poor are least poor.)

Everyone’s favorite anti-woke billionaire, Elon Musk, who as of 2021 has surpassed both Gates and his arch-rival Amazon founder Jeff Bezos as the richest man in the world, just called on the globalist programs to put all the money they get where their mouth is.

David Beasley, the director of the United Nations’ World Food Programme, called on billionaires like Musk and Bezos to personally end world hunger, claiming that a $6 billion donation from them would do the trick.

“The governments are tapped out. This is why and this is when the billionaires need to step up now on a one-time basis: Six billion dollars to help 42 million people that are literally going to die if we don’t reach them,” Beasley told CNN’s “Connect the World” program last week.

Well, Musk thinks it would be good to end hunger in the world. He just had one request before agreeing to give a few billions to Beasley.

“If WFP can describe on exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it,” Musk wrote on Twitter in response.

Of course Beasley couldn’t do that. It must be noted that the WFP exists to “solve world hunger”, and last year reported an income of $8.4 billion, with which they were unable to save 42 million people from starvation.

The fact is, they don’t really want to. They would become redundant and go out of existence if ever they succeeded. But even if they did want to, redistribution is not a solution to poverty and hunger in the badly governed countries of the world.

Right. If they didn’t do it with over 8 billion, why would 6 billion do it? The UN is one of the most corrupt, untrustworthy organizations to ever exist.

Throwing money at a problem can often increase the size of the problem.

Yes, because when you throw money at the UN, it just enables them to double down on their Marxist agenda. Just like the government does!
