Putin: Insulting Prophet Muhammad is not freedom of expression

“Russian President Vladimir Putin has said insulting Prophet Muhammad does not count as freedom of expression.”

“Insults to the prophet are a “violation of religious freedom and the violation of the sacred feelings of people who profess Islam,”, Putin said on Thursday during his annual news conference, Russian News Agency TASS reported.”

I’m surprised Putin is jumping on that bandwagon.
I didn’t think he catered to Muslims- and why would you need to when you’ve already got your dictatorship secured?
It’s ridiculous on the face of it - “violates religious freedom”? Well then, insulting any religion should violate everyone else’s “religious freedom”.
The Muslims themselves will have to re-write the Koran, since it insults Jews and Christians.
But then we can’t criticize them for that, can we?
So they can violate our freedom of religion by insulting us, but we can’t criticize them for it?
And kill us, too, since they are commanded to.
(“Don’t kill me!” - “Stop criticizing my religion!”)
If you can’t criticize violence and insanity, you can’t protest it, and it will rule (hmm, just like BLM violence).
