Did he say that in the speech? I have a transcript of it from the official White House dot gov site, but I haven’t checked it for that quote yet.

No, not in that speech. Just recently he said it.
I think it may have been when he held that party for transgenders on the While House lawn. And hung the “Pride” flag in the most prominent position between two US flags on the WH itself.

All I can find by googling is that he said transgenders “shape our nation’s soul”. So I seem to have got his wording wrong, though not his sentiment.

And yes, they are battling for the soul of the nation, as they have been for decades, with psychological warfare and propaganda, to turn it into a grotesque, perverted, defeated caricature of itself.
