Israel eliminated senior Hamas operative Khalid Ahmad Ahmad via an airstrike near Sidon, Lebanon on Wednesday [today, May 7, 2025] according to the Israeli military.
Ahmad served as head of operations in Hamas’s Western Brigade in Lebanon, and was directly involved in orchestrating terror attacks against Israeli civilians and military forces throughout the ongoing war.
In recent weeks, Ahmad was engaged in weapons smuggling and planning further attacks on Israeli territory.
His elimination followed a series of Israeli strikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and personnel across Lebanon.
On Tuesday, a senior Hezbollah operative was killed in an airstrike on the Nabatieh region in Southern Lebanon. He was identified as Adnan Muhammad Sadiq Harb, a commander in the terrorist group’s Badr Unit.
Harb played a key role in Hezbollah’s operations north of the Litani River and was responsible for the rehabilitation of the group’s terror capabilities.
He was also actively involved in restoring Hezbollah’s infrastructure south of the Litani, the military said—a move considered a violation of the post-2006 war understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
In addition to overseeing logistics, Harb was involved in the transfer of weapons across Lebanese territory for various Hezbollah units.
IDF, Yamam and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) forces on Friday [today, May9, 2025] operated in the area of Shechem (Nablus) in order to apprehend the terrorist Noor Beitawi, the head of the Islamic Jihad’s terror network in Jenin.
According to the IDF, Israel Police and Shin Bet, the terrorist advanced significant terror activities and was involved in directing, funding, and executing terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and Israeli security forces. Additionally, Beitawi maintained ties with Hamas in Gaza and Hamas abroad.
Beitawi was responsible for transferring terror funds to Jenin and other villages in the area. He operated to recruit and arm terrorists in order to carry out terrorist attacks against IDF soldiers.
Simultaneously, he led the production and planting of explosives in the area of Jenin.
The terrorist was wanted for several months after he was identified by Israeli security forces fleeing from Jenin toward the area of Nablus, following the counterterrorism operation in northern Samaria. Following ISA intelligence and operational activity, the terrorist was located in a residence in Nablus.
“Head of Hamas Muhammad Sinwar confirmed eliminated. He replaced his brother Yahya Sinwar, who was eliminated. Muhammad Shabana, his second in command and the top candidate to replace him, was also eliminated together with him.”

The IDF and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) on Saturday killed a terrorist leader, Mahmoud Kaheel, who was directly involved in the kidnapping of Shiri Bibas and her children, Kfir and Ariel, from Kibbutz Nir Oz and their subsequent murder in Gaza, the defense bodies announced in a joint statement.
Mahmoud Kaheel invaded Nir Oz on Oct. 7, 2023, and he was involved in keeping the Bibas family in captivity.
Terrorists from the Kataeb al-Mujahideen organization played a significant role in the brutal massacre on October 7.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Sunday that it had eliminated a Hamas terrorist who was involved in the Nova music festival massacre and infiltrated Kibbutz Re’im as part of the Oct. 7, 2023, onslaught.
Arafat Diab, of the Hamas Sheikh Radwan Battalion, was killed in a May 31 airstrike coordinated by the IDF and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), the army stated, adding that the terrorist also “commanded a police station for the group and promoted terror operations against Israeli civilians.”
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Tuesday night that it had eliminated two Hezbollah-linked terror operatives in the Southern Lebanon village of Shebaa, just across the border from the Jewish state’s Golan Heights.
One of the terrorists was a member of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist group, while the other belonged to the Lebanese Resistance Brigades, which the IDF said is operating “at Hezbollah’s directions".
According to the IDF statement, the terrorists were handling weapons used by Hezbollah for terrorist activities, and surveilling Israeli troops stationed in the southern part of the country.
The Israel Defense Forces in recent hours eliminated two Hezbollah terror commanders in Southern Lebanon.
Overnight on Wednesday [June 18, 2025], the IDF killed Mohammad Ahmad Khreiss, commander of the Iranian terror proxy’s anti-tank unit at Hezbollah’s Chebaa outpost in the area of Nabatieh.
Earlier on Wednesday, Hezbollah’s Litani-sector artillery commander was killed in a strike near Barish in Southern Lebanon’s Tyre District.
During the war, Yassin Abd al-Mun’im ‘Izz al-Din directed numerous attacks on northern Israel, according to the Israeli military.
He also worked to rebuild Hezbollah’s artillery capabilities.

A targeted airstrike in central Gaza on June 17 killed Ibrahim Abu Shumala, the director of finance for Hamas’s “military wing”.
Abu Shumala previously served as a close aide to Marwan Issa, Hamas’s deputy commander, who was killed in March 2024.
According to the IDF, Abu Shumala was responsible for planning and managing Hamas’s wartime budget, overseeing the transfer of millions of dollars in terrorist funding into the Gaza Strip.
The military said his financial operations played a key role in Hamas’s rearmament efforts and the payment of salaries to its operatives, significantly bolstering the group’s ongoing activities during the war.
The IDF said it had killed a senior member of the Mujahideen Brigades (“Kataeb al-Mujahideen”), Ali Saadi Wasfi al-Agha, in central Gaza. He was responsible for burying in captivity Gadi Haggai and Judy Lynn Weinstein-Haggai, a couple whose remains have since been returned to Israel.
The terrorist was killed on Monday in a joint operation conducted by the IDF and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).
Al-Agha served as the military commander of the Mujahideen Brigades’ southern Gaza unit and was expected to succeed the former head of the group, Asaad Abu Sharia, eliminated in an Israeli strike earlier this month.
The military further stated that the slain terrorist also directed and promoted terrorist activities, under Iranian guidance, with operatives in Judea and Samaria and inside Green Line Israel.
Friday, the IDF killed the commander of Hezbollah’s firepower array in southwestern Lebanon.
During the war with the Iranian-backed group, terrorist Mohammad Khadr al-Husseini advanced numerous attacks toward Nahariya, Haifa and additional cities within Israeli territory.
Al-Husseini was recently involved in efforts to rebuild Hezbollah’s artillery force.
Israel’s military said on Saturday [July 5, 2025] that it had killed a terrorist in Hezbollah’s special operations Radwan Force in Aynata, southeastern Lebanon, as part of ongoing efforts to counter threats on the northern border [of Israel].
In a separate operation, the Israel Defense Forces and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) confirmed that they killed Qasem Salah al-Husseini, a Lebanese terrorist affiliated with the Quds Force, the branch of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that specializes in unconventional warfare and military intelligence operations, during a strike on July 3 in Kafr Sil, south of Beirut.
According to the IDF, al-Husseini played a central role in orchestrating attacks against Israeli civilians and troops. He was also a key figure in smuggling weapons from Iran through Syria to Lebanon, Judea, and Samaria, maintaining ties with arms dealers and operating under direct Iranian supervision.
The IDF said that his death delivers a significant blow to terrorist networks’ weapons smuggling and attack planning on multiple fronts.
Israel Defense Forces troops operating over the past week in the Khan Yunis area of the southern Gaza Strip have killed dozens of terrorists and dismantled more than 130 terrorist sites above and below ground.
Targets included weapons stockpiles, booby-trapped buildings, observation posts and launch positions aimed at Israeli forces.
The military said on Sunday [July 13, 2025] that the IAF struck more than 150 enemy targets across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
The Israeli military activity is part of “Operation Gideon’s Chariots”. Launched on May 16, it is a wide-scale IDF campaign targeting the last Hamas and Islamic Jihad strongholds in Gaza.
The Israeli Air Force this week killed Amjad Muhammad Hassan Shaer, the head of the Counterintelligence Directorate in Hamas’s General Security Apparatus, in a targeted strike in the northern Gaza Strip, the military said on Friday.
Shaer’s unit is responsible for suppressing dissent against Hamas’s rule, thwarting espionage and securing senior officials and strategic assets of the terrorist organization both within the Gaza Strip and abroad, the IDF said. [Torturing to death is the preferred Hamas method - J.B.]
The Counterintelligence Directorate also provides assessments that inform senior Hamas decision-making and support the planning and execution of terrorist attacks against Israel.
