Israel eliminated senior Hamas operative Khalid Ahmad Ahmad via an airstrike near Sidon, Lebanon on Wednesday [today, May 7, 2025] according to the Israeli military.
Ahmad served as head of operations in Hamas’s Western Brigade in Lebanon, and was directly involved in orchestrating terror attacks against Israeli civilians and military forces throughout the ongoing war.
In recent weeks, Ahmad was engaged in weapons smuggling and planning further attacks on Israeli territory.
His elimination followed a series of Israeli strikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and personnel across Lebanon.
On Tuesday, a senior Hezbollah operative was killed in an airstrike on the Nabatieh region in Southern Lebanon. He was identified as Adnan Muhammad Sadiq Harb, a commander in the terrorist group’s Badr Unit.
Harb played a key role in Hezbollah’s operations north of the Litani River and was responsible for the rehabilitation of the group’s terror capabilities.
He was also actively involved in restoring Hezbollah’s infrastructure south of the Litani, the military said—a move considered a violation of the post-2006 war understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
In addition to overseeing logistics, Harb was involved in the transfer of weapons across Lebanese territory for various Hezbollah units.
IDF, Yamam and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) forces on Friday [today, May9, 2025] operated in the area of Shechem (Nablus) in order to apprehend the terrorist Noor Beitawi, the head of the Islamic Jihad’s terror network in Jenin.
According to the IDF, Israel Police and Shin Bet, the terrorist advanced significant terror activities and was involved in directing, funding, and executing terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and Israeli security forces. Additionally, Beitawi maintained ties with Hamas in Gaza and Hamas abroad.
Beitawi was responsible for transferring terror funds to Jenin and other villages in the area. He operated to recruit and arm terrorists in order to carry out terrorist attacks against IDF soldiers.
Simultaneously, he led the production and planting of explosives in the area of Jenin.
The terrorist was wanted for several months after he was identified by Israeli security forces fleeing from Jenin toward the area of Nablus, following the counterterrorism operation in northern Samaria. Following ISA intelligence and operational activity, the terrorist was located in a residence in Nablus.

The IDF and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) on Saturday killed a terrorist leader, Mahmoud Kaheel, who was directly involved in the kidnapping of Shiri Bibas and her children, Kfir and Ariel, from Kibbutz Nir Oz and their subsequent murder in Gaza, the defense bodies announced in a joint statement.
Mahmoud Kaheel invaded Nir Oz on Oct. 7, 2023, and he was involved in keeping the Bibas family in captivity.
Terrorists from the Kataeb al-Mujahideen organization played a significant role in the brutal massacre on October 7.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Sunday that it had eliminated a Hamas terrorist who was involved in the Nova music festival massacre and infiltrated Kibbutz Re’im as part of the Oct. 7, 2023, onslaught.
Arafat Diab, of the Hamas Sheikh Radwan Battalion, was killed in a May 31 airstrike coordinated by the IDF and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), the army stated, adding that the terrorist also “commanded a police station for the group and promoted terror operations against Israeli civilians.”
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Tuesday night that it had eliminated two Hezbollah-linked terror operatives in the Southern Lebanon village of Shebaa, just across the border from the Jewish state’s Golan Heights.
One of the terrorists was a member of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist group, while the other belonged to the Lebanese Resistance Brigades, which the IDF said is operating “at Hezbollah’s directions".
According to the IDF statement, the terrorists were handling weapons used by Hezbollah for terrorist activities, and surveilling Israeli troops stationed in the southern part of the country.
