Oh djeeziz! Please, Liz, give us the title of that article. I must read it.
It’s at Pam Gellers site Geller Report, under the headline “Mediator Qatar Instructed Hamas to Keep the Hostages, US Intelligence Officer Reports”.
Thanks, Liz! I hope the president has been made aware of this.
"The Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) killed Hamas terrorist Hamza Wael Muhammad Asafah in a precision airstrike in central Gaza two weeks ago, the agencies said on Tuesday.
“Asafah, a senior member of the Nukhba Force in Hamas’s Deir al-Balah Battalion, infiltrated Israeli territory during the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre and subsequently participated in hostage release ceremonies used by Hamas for propaganda purposes.”
What an amazing job is being done identifying and eliminating each of these terrorists.
They all know the IDF ‘has their number’, and they will not escape justice.
"The Israel Defense Forces killed a squad commander in the special operations unit of Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon on Tuesday [today, April15, 2025], the IDF said.
“The IDF statement about the strike in the Aitaroun area against the squad commander did not name the target. Lebanese media identified him as Ali Beizoun.”
From the linked article:
The Israel Defense Forces on Sunday eliminated two senior Hezbollah terrorist operatives in separate targeted airstrikes in Southern Lebanon.
One of those killed was Hussein Ali Nasr, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s Unit 4400, which is responsible for smuggling weapons and funds into Lebanon.
Nasr played a key role in Hezbollah’s terror army by coordinating with Iranian operatives and overseeing weapons transfers through strategic routes, including Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport.
The strike on Nasr was part of ongoing operations to eliminate threats to Israeli civilians on all fronts.
The second target was the head of Hezbollah’s engineering operations in the Al-Aadaissah sector. [Name not given in the article.]
"Israel recently eliminated a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist in Gaza who participated in the Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023 invasion of southern Israel, the Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said in a joint statement on Monday.
"The terrorist, identified as Ahmad Mansour, was involved in planning and executing rocket launches into Israel during the war, the IDF added.
“The Israeli Air Force struck more than 200 targets across the Gaza Strip over the past 72 hours, including terrorist squads, rocket and sniper positions, weapons depots and buildings used for terrorist activity.”

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Tuesday [today, April 22, 2025] that an Israeli Air Force strike earlier in the day in Haret en Naameh, Lebanon, eliminated Hussein Izzat Mohammad Atwi, a senior operative in the Jamaa Islamiya terrorist organization, which is affiliated with Hamas in Lebanon.
According to the IDF, Atwi was a key figure in orchestrating and advancing terrorist activity against Israel from Lebanese territory , including rocket fire, infiltration attempts and the coordination of terror infrastructure along the northern border.
The military added that Atwi was also responsible for directing attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets abroad, operating in close coordination with Hamas.
I haven’t seen anything more about what’s going on with the Gazans evacuating for neigboring countries - has that been resolved? Or what became of Trump’s proposal for rebuilding there.
I suppose it’s all on hold until the hostages are returned and terrorists eliminated.
I read that some Gazans left Gaza, no number given. I don’t know if that was true.
Perhaps it’s all on hold for the reason you suggest, Liz. Or perhaps until the Iranian ayatollahs’ goose is cooked.
I’ll post what I find about it. I too want to know the facts. They might be keeping quiet about the issue for strategic reasons.
Today there is some news about this.
From the linked article:
Some 130 Palestinians left the Gaza Strip on Wednesday through Ramon Airport in southern Israel.
Around 110 Gazans flew to France, while the remainder will settle in Bosnia and Chile, according to Channel 12 News, which cited Israeli officials.
“Dozens of Gazans were flown to Leipzig, Germany, on a designated flight accompanied by German diplomats today [April 23, 2025],” said the Population and Immigration Authority, part of the Interior Ministry, also on April 1.
Since the beginning of the initiative, hundreds of Gazans have been flown to a third country, most of them to Germany, Romania and the United Arab Emirates.
The Security Cabinet on March 22 approved Defense Minister Israel Katz’s proposal to establish a directorate within the ministry to facilitate the voluntary emigration of residents from the Strip.
Katz stressed that the initiative aligns with the vision of U.S. President Donald Trump, who is seeking to turn the 25 miles of Gaza’s coastline into a real estate development and relocate some 2.2 million residents.
“We are working with all means to implement the U.S. president’s vision, and we will allow any Gaza resident who wants to move to a third state to do so,” stated Katz last month.
Well, hope it works. Of course, Hamas won’t like losing any of its ‘human shields’, because that will make them an easier target!
Some good news at Powerline - article “Todays Good News” - says that “US scraps UNRWA’s legal immunity in major reversal of Biden era policy”.
“The decision could see the UN agency…hit with significant claims from the relatives of terror victims”.
Or better still, also eventually disbanded!

Some 36,000 Gazans, or almost 2% of the coastal enclave’s population, have left the Strip since the start of the war prompted by Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, massacre in southern Israel, Channel 12 News reported on Friday.
[Only “nearly 2%”!]
Most of the departing Gazans went to Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, countries in Western Europe and Romania, the report said.
According to Channel 12 Palestinian Affairs Correspondent Ohad Hemo, 2,000 Gazans exited through Israeli territory, including via the Ramon Airport near Eilat or the Allenby Crossing with Jordan.
However, the vast majority of those leaving left through Gaza’s Rafah Crossing with Egypt, which briefly reopened on Jan. 31 as part of the now-expired truce between Israel and Hamas. The southernmost crossing closed when war resumed on March 18.
A survey published in Britain’s Telegraph last month revealed that 52% of Arabs from Gaza, or more than 1.1 million people, would leave the Strip either temporarily or permanently if given the opportunity.
Residents under the age of 34 and those living in the most heavily damaged areas of Gaza City and Khan Yunis expressed the strongest interest in leaving.
On April 1, Interior Minister Moshe Arbel visited Ramon Airport to inspect “the voluntary departure process” of Palestinians from Gaza.
“Dozens of Gazans were flown to Leipzig, Germany, on a designated flight accompanied by German diplomats today,” said the Population and Immigration Authority, part of the Interior Ministry, also on April 1.
“Since the beginning of the initiative, hundreds of Gazans have been flown to a third country, most of them to Germany, Romania and the United Arab Emirates,” the government body stated at the time.
Jerusalem’s Security Cabinet on March 22 approved Defense Minister Israel Katz’s proposal to establish a directorate within his ministry to facilitate the voluntary emigration of residents from the Strip.
Katz stressed that the initiative aligns with the vision of U.S. President Donald Trump, who is seeking to turn the 25 miles of Gaza’s coastline into a real estate development and relocate some 2.2 million residents.
[“2.2 miliion.” That’s better. That’s the entire Arab population of Gaza!]
“We are working with all means to implement the U.S. president’s vision, and we will allow any Gaza resident who wants to move to a third country to do so,” Katz said last month.
2%… At this rate it looks like its going to take awhile. And why would Germany want to take them? They have enough trouble with the Muslims they’ve already allowed in, and need to get rid of.
Israeli forces in Gaza have killed Sa’id Abu Hasnan, a Hamas terrorist who infiltrated southern Israel and took part in the Oct. 7, 2023 massacre at Kissufim, the Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) announced on Tuesday.
In coordinated strikes, the IDF and Shin Bet also killed Ali Naddal Husni Sarfiti, a senior Palestinian Popular Front operative.
Sarfiti, who served a prison sentence in Israel from 2002 to 2015 for planning terrorist attacks, continued to orchestrate attacks and transfer millions of shekels to terror networks after his release, according to the statement.

Israeli forces apprehended Hamas terrorists who surrendered in the Shaboura neighborhood of Rafah, according to military footage released Tuesday [today, May 6, 2025).
Among those captured were a Hamas platoon commander who participated in the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre and was involved in the holding of Israeli hostages, as well as a sniper unit commander.
The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) obtained significant intelligence during the subsequent interrogations, including the location of a major Hamas terror site in the area.
I hope they also gained information on the location of remaining hostages.
