If you thought “Didn’t Pride Month end a couple of weeks ago?”, well, Canada doesn’t observe Pride Month - that’s just some mealy-mouthed, totally homophobic Yank thing: Canada has Pride Season, which runs from June to September, which contemptibly grudging concession will have to do until Pride Year comes along. So Mr Carney [the new Prime Minister] still has many dimpled cheeks to look forward to in the weeks ahead. As he told the nation, Pride is “the essence of Canada”. Which is probably true.

Yes, its “almost as if Peking and Co. have a strategy”! Which the useful idiots of the West are falling into like lemmings, led by all our trusted leaders (who, of course, have parachutes).
That’s why Trump is so great - he understands the con but he won’t buy into it, or cower to it.

Steyn is reliably spot on. Carney makes the idiot king Trudeau look like Ronald Reagan.

Cogito, I agree with you that Mark Steyn’s political judgment is usually “spot on”.

But do you really think he is very much worse than Trudeau?

My view is that they are both stupid and evil. But you know much more about Canadian affairs than I do.

Yes, they are both stupid and evil. They are both decidedly inarticulate, too. But, whereas Trudeau was seen to be a shallow clown, Carney is perceived to be a more thoughtful serious thinker who will manage Canada’s woes most successfully. Yet, he is a dogmatic leftwing zealot. Very dangerous.
