Quite. Rather than being provoked by NATO expansionism, Putin was encouraged by NATO (and US) flaccidity into invading Ukraine.
NATO, of course, is not a direct participant in the Ukraine War.
There’s an article by Victor Davis Hansen at American Greatness, “Ukraine With a Whimper or a Bang”, that raises some interesting questions about conflicting goals, which may prove unresolvable, involved in the war.
He does mention that the member nations of NATO are contributing, along with the US and EU, to Ukraine’s defense.
