Scott Johnson writes at PowerLine about the President of the Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts, defending Tucker Carlson - and Nick Fuentes, the Nazi pro-Inquisition misogynist, with whose opinions he does not in every way agree but - because, because … Because the Heritage sort of person debates, does not cancel …
Scott Johnson comments:
The Heritage Foundation has no enemies on the right — not even at the neo-Nazi destination at which Carlson has arrived to join Fuentes. This is a recipe for intellectual degradation and destruction of the conservative movement.
Another coward with excuses. He calls those condemning Carlson a “venomous coalition”.
With the usual excuse that there’s ‘nothing anti-semitic’ about criticizing Israel’s government, or condemning Israel for all the deaths of Gazans.
But what gives the lie to these excuses is this one glaring omission - they always fail to mention what the Gazans THEMSELVES DID to start the whole thing in the first place - the barbaric massacre of Israelis! If they had any decency they’d still be condemning THAT at every opportunity, but they seem to have developed a strange amnesia to it.
It’s the elephant in the room that’s never noticed in every critique of Israel by Carlson and his friends.
The fact that they are more upset with Israel for what they’ve done to defend themselves from terrorists than they are with the terrorists themselves exposes Tucker and all those defending him as despicable frauds.
A former interior designer and reality TV personality, Welch told The View’s progressive female audience that her podcast began in 2022 as counterprogramming to the toxic positivity culture because it’s more realistic, and so that’s what we offer our listeners, is just authentic trash talking.
Put them in power. Everywhere.
Disband the police forces.
Open the prisons.
Open the borders.
Stop water through taps.
Stop electricity into everything except what tyrannical government wants everyone to use continuously.
Dig very large pits for heaps of dead bodies.
Et cetera. You know how it goes.
Yes, that sums up the Democrat party to a tee.
Ever since communists took it over it’s become like a zombie - it only exists as a prop and a cover for the communist agenda to destroy the country.
And the agenda just gets more insane and openly destructive by the day.
You’d think this level of insanity would cause them to self-destruct - and in some cases they have - but, like a zombie, they just double down and keep going, even after such a decisive win by Trump.
Now they’re running an openly communist/Islamist for mayor of NYC, and it looks like he’ll probably win. It makes me worry that the cancerous poison has infected the Republic to such a degree that even Trump can’t reverse it without resorting to even nore extreme measures than he’s already taking. But if, out of a desire to appear ‘tolerant’, he doesn’t, it will just get worse.
Wow, this Welch - what a witch! A sad commentary on the state of “awfls” - white brainwashed leftist women, and the left in general.
A perfect poster child for the true soullessness and loss of all decency and humanity of the communist left.
So Nick Fuentes tweeted a response to Kevin Roberts, thanking him for siding with him. He concluded his tweet with this - “thank you for…defending Tucker against the Israel First Woke Right”.
What ridiculous nonsense!
First of all, in what universe is being pro-Israel “woke”?! That’s the traditional stance of Evangelical Christians and conservatives in general.
And it’s the exact opposite of reality - the “woke” are on the Left and are pro-palestine.
It’s quite obvious he and Tucker are pushing a propaganda campaign to influence Christians to turn against Israel. Whether it’s for Malik’s money or they just really are stupid and arrogant enough to believe they are bravely defending the ‘true faith’ from the dire “heresy” of “Christian Zionism”, who knows. But it’s interesting that this Christian anti-semitism starts happening at the same time that both Muslims and leftists are also attacking Israel.
No coincidences, right?
In a small way, I supported the Heritage Foundation for many years after I came to live in America in 2007.
Before that, while I was living in London, I was regularly invited to the annual dinner which the Heritage Foundation gave for its British friends.
Over the last five years or so, the organization has became increasingly demanding and arrogant. Now it is headed by an openly anti-Semitic president. With his public statement in defense of two pro-Hitler political commentators, Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, he has made his position plain.
I gave up supporting the organization some time ago.
Now I have formalized my rejection of what it stands for. I have emailed my resignation of membership.
I donated once to them too, about 20 years ago.
Not sure what my membership status is at this point. Good idea to resign, to send a message.
What a disappointment, though - about them, and others I once respected who’ve sided with them.
This divide may well become a bigger problem than I thought it would. I just hope it doesn’t cause enough damage to ruin our chances in the next election.
