Justice not Forgiveness for Covid Tyranny

Quote:
Within weeks, well-credentialed science and health specialists were warning about the unreliable science behind masks, forced lockdowns in senior care facilities, and the potential long-term harm masking and isolation would cause to young people. All of these objections were met with threats, professional derision, and cancellation by the people who are now calling for absolution.
So no, we will not forget how they let people die alone, separated from their loved ones in their last moments here on earth. We will not forget how they annihilated our children’s futures, riddled them with anxiety, crushed their social growth, increased their rates of suicide, drug use, and depression, and stunted their academic progress. We will not forget how they bullied people into wearing masks, suspended kids from school for not wearing their chin diapers, and then went all Stasi on their neighbors while demanding everyone inject themselves with a hastily approved “vaccine” with unknown long-term effects. And those who resisted their fascist moves? The Covidians responded by destroying careers, all while shrieking that we must offer up our children on the altar of Faucism As we look back at the shambles of the last few years, with society altered, small businesses destroyed, generations set back years, truly a national nightmare, the entire COVID disaster is yet another example in the ever-growing list of ways the administrative state reveals itself to be an idiocracy. It really is the perfect blend of ignorance and arrogance as the indoctrinated elites always seek to use any manufactured crisis for more power over you and compliance from you.

Comment:
Our Cogito was one of those who, from the beginning, warned against over-reaction and especially against the danger of the vaccines.

“The vaccines do not stop the transmission or contraction of COVID-19.”

“Hell no” is right.
They put us through hell, not out of some kind of misguided “ignorance and arrogance” - it was on purpose.
These megalomaniacs are nothing less than Stalin, Mao and Hitler all rolled into one, on a global scale.
They’re willing to destroy the entire world’s economy and commit genocide in order to gain total power and turn what’s left of us into serfs.

The initial reaction to a plague unleashed on the world was the only rational response to make. What came after that supposed bought time became criminal and was lacking in intelligent coordination, as the dictator Fauci became the be-all and end-all of Covid regulations and initiatives.

We were sold down the river and sold a bill of goods.

I read a blurb on a medical site that researchers have discovered that Covid can pass through walls and floors based on a study of an apartment building somewhere.

There were many “initial reactions”, by many different authorities, in many different places. Which of them do you think was “rational”? Officials justified their edicts on the basis of Covid being a “novel” virus. So great was the novelty, that the institutional epidemiologists were not prepared to predict that this sars virus would behave like other sars viruses, i.e. the spike cycles would flatten out as herd immunity established itself, with a likelihood of the virus becoming, like flu, endemic. Mandates for lockdowns, vaccines, masks, prohibitions on certain drugs and treatments were the result of institutional panic about the unknowns, not rational risk assessment.

The initial one of shutting down until the US could gear up for what was supposed to be coming. Nothing right happened after that, and it wasn’t even a true shut down. The initial one of attempting to close our borders to the contagion. That failed for PC reasons.

That was a rational decision based upon what was known, in my opinion. The initial masking with a proper respirator, of avoidance and disinfecting was rational. Most everything else was irrational. Even a fast track on a vaccine was initially rational. All the false information, false reasoning, false science, false authority…that was irrational.

The Pandemic Movement was irrational. The political agenda was irrational. Or then again, if the goal was control through fear and intimidation, perhaps it was rational to those who desired such an outcome.

The way the public health establishment. and the media hysterically condemned and prohibited therapeutics like HCQ+Zinc, and later Ivermectin, tells me that they didn’t want safe and effective therapies – because those would have ended the crisis. It wasn’t just a matter of protecting big profits for Pfizer and Moderna. How many thousands of people who actually did die from the virus (not merely with it) would be alive and well today if doctors had been encouraged to use those treatments? Instead, doctors were being penalized or de-certified for their use. Yes – Justice, not Forgiveness.

Yes, justice needs to be done, not “forgive and forget”. What slimy weasels.

Very rude, but fun to read:

“Mock them. Belittle them. Call them “election deniers.” Rub their smug, Botoxed faces in their failure. Point out, accurately, that their embarrassing rejection by America is personal, that they are malignant and ridiculous people who thought that the angry weather goddess had blessed them with the divine right to rule over the rest of us. But they were wrong, totally and completely wrong, and the misery they are experiencing is all their fault. It is proper that you do this mercilessly. It’s for their own good.”

Yes! Let the “righteous retribution” begin!

Kudos, Kurt … except for that final sentence. I don’t give a damn “for their own good.” If any learn from it and change their ways, I’ll be happy to have more allies against the radicals.* Otherwise they can go to hell.

*Some of the best allies against the radicals are former radicals. David Horowitz is a prime example, likewise the late Ron Silver. Hitchens had come a long way from his long-ago radicalism by December 2011, and he would have come further since if he could have witnessed the recent years of absurdity and criminality on the left.
