The Canadian government is proposing to jail people for life if they say - or are suspected of intending to say - something that woke orthodoxy does not permit.

Think this can’t happen? Similar legislation to define and crack down on in-person and online “hate” is being pushed across Europe. Just recently, in Belgium, former Flemish parliamentarian Dries Van Langenhove was sentenced to one year in prison. The reason for this sentence was for sharing supposedly “racist memes” in a private group chat.

Only one year in prison for expressing an unlicensed opinion?! How merciful are the Belgians! Canadians know that an unlicensed opinion is at least as bad as murder and deserves nothing less than a life sentence. (Bad opinions are always due to racist hate, which is only okay if it’s against white men in general - or Jews, of course.)
It’s just unreal, even though we knew it was heading this direction. You just can’t believe anyone would really take it this far and pass a law that might as well be a proclamation -" Yes, we are officially an authoritarian dictatorship."
And we know that if not stopped, our own government has every intention of catching up to them this year.
