“A pretext for delegitimizing their political opponents” - exactly. That’s all it was, just like the Whitmer case. Just like the Russian collusion hoax, the Mueller investigation, the impeachments, the riots, the “pandemic” - the list goes on and on.
These people will stoop to anything, including rigging elections. They are pure scum.
