How Life Began?

Exactly how life first emerged from non-living matter is one of the most enduring mysteries of science. In a new study, Japanese scientists have created self-replicating protocells in the lab, which they say could represent the “missing link” between chemistry and biology.

These days I’m reading 2 books about Cell Biology and Physiology. I couldn’t explain why and how the gap between “non-living matter” and “life” to some of friends. Prof. Alexander Oparin tried to explain it in his book (The origin of life), but it couldn’t persuade me to accept that only “Coaservates” replicated themselves by their abilities. Now this article completely lighted the way for me. THX

Welcome to the Forum, Fiangol. So glad you have joined us here.

I still hope - have always hoped - that scientists will discover how to make life whlle I’m alive to know about it.
