He noted that Israeli officials were busy in the West Bank, and underestimated the threat from Gaza. “We warned that the explosion of the situation would come very soon, and that it would be big. They underestimated the value of the warnings.”

It really doesn’t surprise me about our government, considering what we now know about their meddling in so many countries.

Steve Bannon and his guest Kash Patel were incredulous this morning on War Room. They commented on the impossibility of the intelligence communities missing the threat. But they also elaborated on the possibility of Intelligence Priorities (NIPF) being distracted and diverted by the way intelligence has been infiltrated by the woke and then weaponized against the unwashed deplorables. It’s hard to say (with any authority) how much of the destruction we’ve been seeing is due to simple stupidity and incompetence and how much is deliberate and very competent and not in a good way. I tend to think nobody could be that stupid and incompetent, so…But that shouldn’t be surprising if one understands the intentions and capabilities of the radical left.
Yes, exactly. We know the woke and climate change BS is their propaganda, used as an excuse to attack us. But since that’s what they’re focused on - attacking us, who knows how little attention they’re paying to actual threats.
But its equally possible they’re helping cause the actual threats, too.

Yes. Maybe. But how was the threat possible to miss? Maybe it wasn’t missed, but rather was administratively vetoed (?) These things seem to happen. NSA’s ThinThread was administratively vetoed in favor of Trailblazer. ThinThread program would probably have prevented 9-11, which the much more expensive Trailblazer failed to do.
Could you expand on that? I have never heard of “Thin-thread” or “Trailblazer”.
And this reminds me of the San Bernadino murders, which the FBI was tracking, but were “called off” of before the attack happened.
