While I agree strongly with the main point of this article - that government is no savior - I disagree with points within it.
My supporting comment on it in situ is: "Anything and everything a government does, it does badly."
I call that Jillian’s Law.
He’s right that government creates all these problems, and then makes them worse with it’s “solutions”, such as the bogus “Inflation Reduction Act”. And yes, we should return to the proper functioning of “civic society”, but is it too late?
The government has become like the dreaded rogue AI, which has been predicted to become “smarter” than humans, take over and destroy us.
The government isn’t smarter than us, but it has definitely taken over and is actively working to destroy us to the point of being enslaved to it.
