“Green” policies to save the earth from overheating keep the British shivering.
There are shelters from the cold, called “warm hubs”, scattered about the country, where those who can get to them save themselves from dying of hypothermia.
This article does not report that any of the interviewees complain about the policies that are hurting and harming them. (“You mustn’t grumble, it could be worse,” is a British mantra – if not spoken, understood to apply to all bad conditions however extreme.)
Waiting for the ban on gas cooking and heating devices in the US to hit us broadside. Of course, the administration denies this, but it is already in the plans. We can only make use of Green Energy if everything runs by electricity.
I guess it’s a nice change from being forced to stay indoors from covid - the other government created crisis, but its still a created crisis, which they can thank the socialist government for forcing on them.
