It is treason. The prescribed penalty is death.
The appalling people governing us will do nothing to him, however. I doubt they’ll even force him to resign. The rule of law has gone.

Yes, I don’t doubt they will do NOTHING.
They all, in one way or another, are just as guilty of treason as he is.
