The Inflation Reduction Act, instead of addressing the underlying issues causing inflation, especially when it comes to energy and food, will exacerbate the problems. The government-imposed shift away from conventional fuels that provide us affordable and abundant energy is going to shift even further.
The bill is many things (e.g., cronyism, wasteful, costly, controlling, and arrogant), but it certainly isn’t about improving our lives, which affordable and abundant energy does. And regardless of the bill’s name—which is an insult to the intelligence of every American—it has nothing to do with addressing inflation. It is identical in purpose and philosophy to what created the current economic mess. Enacted into law, it will lead to a longer and much more painful stagflation.
“…costly, controlling, arrogant…an insult to the intelligence…” You don’t say! I wouldn’t have expected anything less from the morally depraved, sociopathic criminals holding us hostage.

Republicans are fuming over the potential passing of Democrats healthcare, tax, and climate spending bill. Predicting that the Inflation Reduction Act will actually make the economy worse, Republicans are taking aim at the massive spending bill [the Democrats] claim will put money back into American’s pockets. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell [argued] that the bill “will kill American jobs and hammer our manufacturing sector” and “have no impact on global temperatures whatsoever”.
I wonder if they are only “raising hell” for the political theatre, knowing that it will pass anyway?
All too probably!
