DOJ and FBI Corruption

The FBI and Justice Department should cease to exist in their current forms, if they should even exist at all.
They are no longer the good guys fighting for justice or the guardians of the rule of law.
They’re nothing less than the Administrative State’s Praetorian Guard, the ruling class’s personal bodyguards, intelligence gatherers, and intimidators. They aren’t protecting the rights of the American people, and haven’t done for decades. But they are hell-bent on attacking their political enemies, protesting parents, and anyone who dares get in the way by questioning whether justice is truly taking place.
People suppose that it’s just top level management that is corrupt. But if that were the case then why haven’t more of the tens of thousands of employees of those institutions come forward as whistleblowers? It’s a serious question. One would think that if there was any goodness—or professional or personal honor—left in those institutions the people there would speak up. But they haven’t because the institutions have become altogether corrupt. They are not interested in the equal application of the rule of law so much as in arresting “domestic terrorists” in the form of concerned moms. They would rather take on these “hardened criminals” than tackle any one of the myriad actual crimes being committed in this country every day.
There are no limits to the Justice Department and FBI’s abuse. They spent four years searching for dirt on the sitting president of the United States, only for their so-called evidence to be revealed as a hoax. If they’re willing to target the duly elected president of the United States they’re more than willing to target ordinary citizens.

Yes, it’s sad that the corruption has spread so far into the ranks that they all seem willing to go along with it. Could be alot are afraid to become a target.
But , like so many other government departments, they need to go. The others are simply useless wastes of money, but these are worse, since they have become weaponized against us.

The Praetorian Guard was the equivalent in ancient Rome of the Secret Service bodyguards of today (who protect US presidents, vice-presidents and their families). All the top officials, senators and army commanders of the Roman Republic and, when the Republic came to an end, the Emperors were guarded by this special force until the 2nd. century C.E. This meant that they were powerful, and they acted far more independently - playing an active part in the history of Rome - than our Secret Service has ever done or would supposedly dare to do. For instance, they assassinated the “bad” emperor Caligula, and installed the “good” emperor Claudius in his place.

Btw Jillian, I want to know how ‘bad’ was Caligula as emperor?

He’s generally written about by historians as bad. He started off well enough, then fell ill - was possibly poisoned - and never fully recovered. The illness may have driven him insane. He had many members of his own family executed.

The famous story that he made his horse a consul is not true.

Just read that two former high ranking FBI officials have come out with a warning about Garlands memo to the FBI to target parents resisting CRT in schools as “domestic terrorists”.
Of note is that they are “former”, not current.
I think the current members of the FBI are either complicit, or keeping their heads down.
