Carlson and Musk - a Team for Triumph

Quote:
Twitter owner Elon Musk revealed one behind-the-scenes secret about Tucker Carlson’s comeback video that makes its success that much sweeter.
The video, posted to Carlson’s Twitter account on Wednesday, drew a bigger audience than all of the Fox News prime-time shows combined that day and, according to Musk, Twitter did absolutely nothing to promote its reach.
As of Thursday evening, Carlson’s tweet — which had been posted around 5 p.m. the night prior — had already garnered a whopping 40.5 million views.
By Saturday, that view count had soared to new heights, reaching an astounding 77.6 million. The video itself had been watched 22.9 million times.

By October 2020, Tucker was achieving an unprecedented average of 5.4 million nightly viewers. Seemed huge at the time. His final show was watched by about 3.4 million - still more than any other hour of talk on any channel. But those figures are small compared to the vast audience he won for the short video shown on Twitter after he’d been fired by Fox.

It’s possible that Fox firing him will backfire on them and have the opposite effect from what they wanted - maybe it will cause people to leave Fox and start discovering alternative media, and it may even increase Tuckers audience, while decreasing Foxes influence.

That would be the outcome of our hearts’ desire!

The Murdochs need to get their comeuppance.

And we need to continue hearing from Tucker.

It’s everywhere. No one who wants to watch it can miss it. But thanks anyway, Jeanne.
