Some excerpts below are from their website, where I could not find any mention of Christ, God, or the supposed Judeo-Christian foundations of Western Civilization…

Sounds great to me! We need every effort by everyone, whatever influence they may have, to expose the lies of the left and motivate people to vote for Trump.
And to make people aware, if the election is stolen again, of what is going on and who is behind it.

It’s a merry company, but I see no one there with whom I unreservedly agree.

Except President Trump of course. They’ve put Trump, in revolutionary military uniform, in the front of the boat, and that’s good. But they do not say that he will be addressing the rally on September 29th.

This is not, thus far, a movement within the MAGA movement. It is more a get-together of political thinkers, many of them feeling betrayed by their former party allies.

If they help Trump to win the presidential election, I will applaud them.

True, God and Jesus are omitted. And that’s certainly something to be appreciated.

But I think the unity and love message is platitudinous and twee. What do you think of it?

I know what you’re saying about the “unity and love” message, because I always recoil and cringe at the suggestion “we need less divisiveness and more unity and bipartisanism”, made by deceitful radicals and naïve or treacherous RINOs. But in this case I don’t hear that as the message or intent - to deceive, to promote compromise and ultimately surrender to the left. This is something very different, and while the leftists who talk about unity are actually promoting and advancing the agenda of the radical left, most of the people in this coalition seem very strongly against that faction of the Democrat party. This is more similar to the Walk-Away movement founded by Brandon Straka some years ago, circa 2019-20. Also, the people from what we think of as the left-of-center divide who have joined this coalition are considered persona non grata and despicable rogues by the leaders as well as the rank of file of the radical left and TDS types.* I think it would be worthwile to watch what happens this coming Sunday. I just wish it had been better publicized. Meanwhile, I will try to find out if it will be broadcast on any media. It’s the kind of thing C-SPAN might be interested in covering, though they have drifted in an anti-conservative direction over the years.

*Did you see the satire drug commercial ad made by Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr’s erstwhile VP running mate? It’s advertising a new treatment for Trump Derangement Syndrome. I think most of the people associated with this coalition, including Democrats, are going to be voting Republican this year.

And who is paying for it?

Have they not invited the media people?

Where are they advertising?

Are you going to the rally?

Yes, alot of the people mentioned in it seem to be those who were “liberals”, or more on the left in the past, but have “walked away” from it because of the extremism of the left now.
Hopefully this movement they are forming - which really started quite awhile back with Andrew Breitbart, Bannon, and others - will bring more of the left over to the Trump side.

It seems that Bret Weinstein was leading the organizing effort for the event, with help from his wife Heather Heying and a few others like Jordan Peterson. But as it points out in the About Us page, “RTR History”, the loosely affiliated cohort of activists goes back to the movement Defeat the Mandates in opposition to the Covid vaccine mandates. So RFK Jr and doctors Robert Malone and Pierre Kory are participating. It also mentions Rage Against the War Machine movement opposing involvement in the Ukrainian conflict.

“The same team of visionary leaders who organized and rose up to send the strong message of “We will not comply” are raising voices once again to protest the ongoing dismantling and destruction of Western values across the globe.”

The participants are an assortment of MAGA people and some MAGA-adjacent people. If you look at the Meet Our Lineup page, RFK Jr and Tulsi Gabbard, both of whom have endorsed Trump, are there, but also more long-time Trump supporting conservatives like Charlie Kirk, Lara Logan, Senator Ron Johnson, Eric Bolling, Colonel Douglas MacGregor, Brandon Straka, Tiffany Justice. More recently red-pilled is Russell Brand. I’d consider Canadian Jordan Peterson as someone who’d be voting for Trump if he was an American. Several of the other names in the Lineup I don’t recognize, but people like Matt Taibbi is another one of those red-pilled liberal renegades, like Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying, whose revolt began several years ago after they left their biology faculty positions at Evergreen State College in Oregon, where they had come under attack for not supporting the college’s DEI policies and anti-white activism.

I think the funding may be coming from the participants themselves, most of whom are celebrities of independent means, along with contributions from supporters. I made a generous contribution over the weekend. The two previously mentioned Defeat the Mandates and Rage Against the Machine would not have attracted funding from any sources supporting covid lockdowns and vaccine mandates or military aid to escalate the Ukrainian conflict.

I contacted the organization via email today about media coverage and so forth… Mindy there responded…

"A number of media outlets will be covering the event, including both independent media and large networks. I am not certain about the transcripts, but we are working out who will be doing livestreaming of the event. I’m sure that the information will be made available closer to the event, but you are welcome to inquire if you do not see it prior to the event on Sunday.

So, I will touch base with them on Friday or Saturday to get their latest updates about media coverage, and will let you know.

I’m not going to the event, but probably would be if I lived closer to DC. It’s a two-day drive from New Orleans (1100 miles, 16 hours minimum). I wouldn’t want to fly there.
