These lies and cover-ups did real damage to Republicans in the 2020 and 2022 elections. They are responsible for Republican losses at the polls due to believers in all this crap changing parties (affecting the primaries) and persuading believers to not vote, or in the worst case scenario, to vote for Democrats. And they tainted all the attempts to cry fraud and prosecute those, who committed it.

The chaotic riot on Jan. 6 was not a good thing at all. Protesting out front is where it should have stopped. Those that were responsible for encouraging the crowd to forcibly push aside the fencing and enter the building should be punished. And then it all went sideways for the true protesters and patriots practicing their right to do so. I am so very sorry that it happened. I am so very sorry that more did not heed what Beck said repeatedly, ādo not goā and āit is a trap.ā I have no idea if other pundits said the same. All their patriotic messages and attempts to have their protests and concerns heard backfired and were deliberately set to flame to make what happened seem to appear to Americaā¦and the worldā¦that America is under siege from White Militant Extremists Trumpists, who even turned against his former VP.

I wish there could have been one that would have succeeded. We were right to be outraged about the stealing of the election, and an insurrection actually WAS justified. But such a thing would never have succeeded, and only ended in worse tragedy.
As it is, we had people who were duped and entrapped into tresspassing, and are now political prisoners of the traitors who entrapped them.
My guess is that the only people committing violence that day were undercover federal agents, or operatives being paid by them.
