Brave woman. This is worth copying and printing for the notations of fact-based references. And…to give to those who just could not vote for Trump in 2020.

These lies and cover-ups did real damage to Republicans in the 2020 and 2022 elections. They are responsible for Republican losses at the polls due to believers in all this crap changing parties (affecting the primaries) and persuading believers to not vote, or in the worst case scenario, to vote for Democrats. And they tainted all the attempts to cry fraud and prosecute those, who committed it.

And…RINO cooperation with these Progressive lies and cover-ups were another strike against Republican candidates. I am sincerely hoping that McConnell will retire after his concussion…Just go, for pity’s sake.

I like this admission:

I don’t like President Trump (Do I not? Who knows? I have been lied to about him so much for so long, I can‘t tell whether my instinctive aversion is simply the habituated residue of years of being on the receiving end of lies).

This is true of Republicans and Conservatives, as well.

The chaotic riot on Jan. 6 was not a good thing at all. Protesting out front is where it should have stopped. Those that were responsible for encouraging the crowd to forcibly push aside the fencing and enter the building should be punished. And then it all went sideways for the true protesters and patriots practicing their right to do so. I am so very sorry that it happened. I am so very sorry that more did not heed what Beck said repeatedly, “do not go” and “it is a trap.” I have no idea if other pundits said the same. All their patriotic messages and attempts to have their protests and concerns heard backfired and were deliberately set to flame to make what happened seem to appear to America…and the world…that America is under siege from White Militant Extremists Trumpists, who even turned against his former VP.

Well done Progressives.

Yes, Beck was right - it was a trap. I frankly think it was a dumb idea for Trump to hold that rally to begin with. If only he’d listened to Beck…

Ah, but imagine if there really had been an insurrection on 1/6/2021 and it had succeeded!

It would have ended in worse tragedy when military force was required, and what then?

Insurrections require more than patriotic protesters walking into the Capitol building with flags.

I wrote “a real insurrection” - whatever it took - “… and it had succeeded”.

I can’t find your paragraph beginning “The chaotic riot…” in the Wolf apology.

Is it you speaking? Or are you quoting - and if so, from where?

I wish there could have been one that would have succeeded. We were right to be outraged about the stealing of the election, and an insurrection actually WAS justified. But such a thing would never have succeeded, and only ended in worse tragedy.
As it is, we had people who were duped and entrapped into tresspassing, and are now political prisoners of the traitors who entrapped them.
My guess is that the only people committing violence that day were undercover federal agents, or operatives being paid by them.
Why is that not the central issue in all the investigation?

Well said.

Insurrections don’t magically become one out of a chaotic riot and turning what happened into one would not have made it a successful insurrection.

Are you saying that we should mount an insurrection from a people’s militia and strike first at the Capitol?

I was not quoting anyone. It was a chaotic riot when it hit the building, but then again, most riots are.

Imagine it as you will, a victorious insurrection against the fascist-socialist “Democrats” is a glorious dream.

All three branches of the government are a bitter disappointment. Though the judicial branch has partially redeemed itself of late.

Yes, it is, but it is also war. War must be planned and assaults choreographed.

I use the words “chaos” and “chaotic” often, but maybe I heard this described as a chaotic riot, and used it here to describe the first assault, which moved the protest to riot status.

War is chaos.

War comes when law breaks down.

The “Democrats” disdain the law.

There’s a cold civil war now in America, like it or not.

Yes, my point exactly - it was not Trump supporters doing the violence and vandalism - they were trying to stop any violence! It was Antifa.
And the fact that the Feds arrested the Trump supporters, but not the Antifa, proves that they were in on the effort to make Trump and his supporters look bad.

An extraordinary and heart rending juxtaposition of two Americas. The glorious one under Trump and the ignoble one under Biden.
