And So Bye-Bye, Claudine

The black antisemitic plagiarist Claudine Gay has resigned the presidency of Harvard.

She claims she has been hounded out of the post by anti-black racists.

So she is against racism, except when it is expressed against Jews.

She is for free speech unless it is used to disagree with DEI, ESG, SJWs, CRT, BLM, or LGBQT+. Or to agree with Jews or Israel.

She is no doubt also against plagiarism. And lying. And she wants us all to know that she is innocent and virtuous and resigns nobly in the spirit of martyrdom.

Whether Harvard will be any better for her leaving remains of course to be seen.

It’s good at least that she’s resigning - she didn’t get away with the plagiarism. Of course she had to whine that it was racism - don’t tell her pulling the race card embarrassingly and obviously doesn’t apply here - she’s entitled to it, whether it fits the circumstances or not!
But I’m sure she’ll be replaced with someone else as equally far- left as her, and nothing will change.
And as long as her replacement is careful not to slip up and say anything anti-semitic, the donors who withdrew their support because of Gay will probably go right back to supporting this leftist indoctrination center.

As more instances of plagiarism kept popping up, Harvard was facing an extended reputational disaster with no end in sight and possible legal exposure if a student punished for plagiarism were to sue over double standards.
But instead of dumping her, Harvard allowed her to resign, for the usual reason of avoiding further distractions, while retaining an academic post and her $900,000 salary.

House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik — a Harvard graduate who emerged as Gay’s chief critic — ripped the decision to allow her to remain on the faculty.

Stefanik argued that Gay’s plagiarism charges are an indelible stain that mars the school’s legitimacy.
“She’s not fit to be a faculty member. It’s unacceptable when you have students at Harvard who would be expelled for plagiarism to allow a faculty member who has nearly 50 examples of plagiarism in their very slim body of academic work. It’s absurd and everybody knows it. Harvard knows it too.”

Following Gay’s departure, there are rumblings that the board which publicly stuck by her until the very end should also be shaken up.

Hilariously, she even plagiarized in her resignation letter! It’s a disgrace that they continue to pay her - it shows how deep the rot goes in that system.
But at least some of the Affirmative Action and DEI “chickens are coming home to roost”.
Take that, Reverend Wright and Obama!
