This TFI Global is unadulterated Putin propaganda. The NATO-like defense alliance is a hook to display Putin’s energy muscle. As reporting on the Middle East it is laughable. It does not mention that Russia is an ally of Iran (against whom the defense alliance would presumable be formed). There is no insight, information, facts, context. It is childish. It could have been generated by a computer. There is no specific information on the alliance and against whom it would be formed. Iran - the Russia of the region - is mentioned as having accelerated its nuclear program thanks to the US (Trump) withdrawing from the JCPOA.
Why do you think this link has any value? If you think that the potential formation of an Arab defense alliance is interesting, it would be of value to this site if you explored other sources for more accurate and detailed information which would offer something to discuss. Which nations would be members? Against whom? Position of Israel - enemy or member? PLO and Hamas? Iran enemy or member? The history of Arab alliances does not bode well for their version of NATO.
I have a suspicion that you linked to this nonsense because you want us to believe that NATO is a nefarious, evil-minded, war-mongering institution determined to set the world ablaze. So a copy-cat NATO in an already war-torn region would be very dangerous. Start up the duck-and-cover drills. Despite your efforts to make mention of NATO trigger a pro-Putin reflex, I am still convinced that Putin is the actual war-monger and caused the war in Ukraine, in which NATO is not fighting because Ukraine is not a member. Why did Putin allow himself to be provoked into invading Ukraine by “NATO expansion”, when NATO did not expand to include Ukraine?
