An interesting observation about life

Beck this morning in a discussion about the new black woman to be part of SCOTUS, asked this concerning the beginning of life. I am changing it a bit to make the hypothesis more reality based.

Suppose humans found a space-traveling ship that contained, in their lab no doubt, some fertilized ovums. Would we consider these to be Life?

If we would, then when does human life begin?

Yes, if we wanted them to be born, they would definitely be considered “life”!
Kind of like when our elites want a war, we suddenly consider Ukraines border “sacred”, but the border in the U.S. is “racist”.

I wonder if scientists would discern female and male species, were the process allowed to continue? I have no doubt that scientists would allow the process to continue. I have seen too many “documentaries” about such temptations. They never end well for Terrans.
