About the Maui Fire Disaster

Quote:
The Wall Street Journal reports this morning that Hawaiian Electric has been aware for years of the vulnerability and hazards of its electricity lines, but has done virtually nothing about it.
Why? The Journal’s subhed provides the answer: “It made little progress, focusing on a shift to clean energy.”
Nice going climatistas. With possibly hundreds of deaths still to be confirmed, this fire may turn out to be the largest mass death event caused by a cult since Jonestown.
Meanwhile, there are allegations that the bureaucrat in charge of water allocation on Maui was slow to release water supplies to firefighters. I don’t know whether this report is accurate, but apparently the said bureaucrat is all about water “equity”.

There is also this story about supposedly potable water being provided to the Maui communities…But if you get sick from drinking it (“don’t drink the water south of the border”, etc.) should it be called “potable”? Sometimes it seems like solutions provided by government are meant to poison us. In this instance, “solution” may have an ironic ring. Solution of what?

So the deaths and vast destruction by fire were not sufficient sacrifices to the climate gods, the warmist administration also sent poison to the survivors to drink.

That water is “potable” in the same way Joe Biden is honest, decent, competent, and intelligent.

… or in the same way that the covid vaccines are safe and effective – or in the same way that hydroxychloroquine + zinc and ivermectin are neither.

Yes, not only do we have to put up with blackouts and brownouts for the sake of “fighting man-made climate change”, people also have to die by being burned alive. I’m sure the geniuses orchestrating the collapse of our power grids see the death and destruction as simply collateral damage, or even better, population reduction!
