A Skeleton Speaks in Gaza

Quote:
Ilay David went into the belly of the beast armed only with truth.

After Hamas released a propaganda video showing Israeli hostage Evyatar David emaciated, starving, and forced to dig his own grave, the plight of the remaining 50 hostages in Gaza once again came to the forefront. While nearly 1000 trucks of aid were ready to come into Gaza, Hamas is demanding more and more, and nearly 90% of UN aid trucks have been looted. In other words, Gaza isn’t starving, Hamas is demanding aid that it wants to steal for its own purposes. But the Israeli hostages are starving.

Evyatar’s family said, “We are forced to witness our dear son and brother Evyatar being deliberately and cynically starved in Hamas’s tunnels in Gaza — a living skeleton buried alive. Our son has only a few days left to live in his current condition.” And Evyatar’s brother Ilay went to the United Nations, which actively employs numerous Hamas terrorists, promotes terrorism at its Gaza schools, and lets jihadis use its buildings and supplies.

Facing the UN Western and Muslim elites who cheer on the jihadis starving his brother to death, Ilay bravely forced them to confront reality. “Suddenly, Hamas confirmed what they have known for months. The terrorists have plenty of food. The only ones starving in Hamas tunnels are the hostages, my brother, Rom Braslavsky and the 48 others, they are choosing to starve them as part of a sick and twisted propaganda campaign,” Ilay emphasized.

**Hamas terrorists use the hostages “and starve them as a weapon of war,”**Ilay added.

He referred to the tragic footage of Evyatar. “Just this past weekend, we received a new video from hell. We were reminded just how much more cruel and inhumane Hamas and its sick partners are,” Ilay said. "My brother was a living skeleton. He had barely the strength to move or speak. His voice barely recognizable,” Ilay exclaimed. “In that video, my little brother was forced to speak to the world, and then actively began to dig his own grave inside a filthy, dark tunnel in Gaza. My mother and I could not even bring ourselves to watch it. We knew that if we did, we would be unable to function.” The emotion Ilay felt was clear.

He described the horrific effect of the video on the family. “My father and sister, however, felt they had to see him, to hear his voice, to feel him somehow. Now these images haunt them. My father cannot sleep, and my mother has not stopped crying ever since, what would you do?”

What would the UN do? Assist the terrorists.

But what will we do? We need to urge American and Israeli leaders to agree that destroying Hamas once and for all is the only way to end this conflict and prevent more tragedies like Evyatar.

And the UN must be destroyed!

From the linked article by Melanie Phillips:

Major Western media outlets have been perpetrating a systematic journalistic fraud on the public by promoting as the truth images generated by a jihadi terrorist group intent on exterminating Israel and murdering Jews.

There is zero evidence of Israel’s deliberately starving the Gazans, because that claim is a lie. The only people being starved to death are the Israeli hostages.

The fact that Israel doesn’t let the media roam around Gaza hardly explains why the press and broadcasters therefore publish Hamas lies and theatrics day in, day out.

All journalists in Gaza work on terms dictated by Hamas. Arab reporters and photographers who supply Western media outlets with material either fear or support Hamas. Any Gazan reporter or photographer who steps out of line faces being removed or killed.

Yet the media have never once publicly acknowledged that every report or image from Gaza is produced under Hamas censorship.

News desks collude in these lies because they are ravenous for the story their Gaza fixers, stringers or photographers provide—the story of “Palestinian” suffering and Israeli evil.

Not one of their reports or images from Gaza can ever be assumed to be truthful, because their sources are all Hamas mouthpieces or sympathizers.

On today’s Gaza battlefield, the risks posed by this media corruption, both to Israel’s security and to the truth, are magnified many times over.

It’s not just that opening up Gaza to Western journalists would mean even more Hamas-dictated propaganda bamboozling even larger swaths of the Western public, and playing into their own innate prejudices against Israel and the Jewish people. Given the obsessive and malignant partisanship by Western journalists in support of the “Palestinian” cause, they might well pass on to Hamas information they discover about IDF positions, intentions or army units.

The despicable behavior by the Western media is not some marginal sideshow. The media is itself an active front in this war, a crucial weapon being wielded by the Islamic world against Israel through Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Qatar and Iran.

This axis has been waging a cognitive war against Israel by suborning and weaponizing the entire liberal internationalist establishment through the United Nations, human-rights law, international courts, NGOs, the universities and, above all, the Western media.

The Western media must therefore be regarded as an enemy force in the service of a great evil. Rather than giving it more access and privileges, it must accordingly be fought, along with the Islamic forces that have deployed it as a key front in the war they are waging against civilization itself.

Yes, the “despicable behavior by the Western media” makes it “an enemy force in the service of a great evil”. But that’s no surprise - we know the Western media serves the Marxist goal of destroying the West from within, and the Islamic goal is one and the same.
It is therefore even more despicable that some on the Right - such as Tucker Carlson - also serve this enemy by repeating it’s propaganda and condemning Israel’s self-defense as “genocide”.

I am seething, but I must say this. Despite my unstinting admiration and gratitude for the wonders of Western Civilization, we must still acknowledge that the astonishing last eighty years of Jewish life in the West is an aberration. Anti-Semitism is the default position here. What we are seeing here, is a reversion to norm. We have been lulled into thinking otherwise. I am thankful that my entire life has been lived in this wondrous time. Fortunately, I will not live to see the predictable result of these infamies.

O Cogito, what are you telling us? About yourself, or merely “the West”?

When I write “merely the West” I am whistling as I pass the vast graveyard.

Sorry, I did not mean to mislead. I was lamenting the state of the West. My health is reasonably good, but I am at the age that the abyss beckons.

I have til now blamed it all on the Muslims, who do play the major part in the resurgence of anti-semitism, but considering the recent emergence of the same evil on both the left and right by Westerners, I’m beginning to think you may have a point.

Yes, Islamic anti-Semitism dominates the scene today, but it is discouragingly true that there is a re-emergence of Christian anti-Semitism.
