A Nobel Prize for President Trump?

From the linked article:

If obliterating Iran’s nuclear capabilities and brokering peace between nations that seemed destined for prolonged war doesn’t merit recognition, what exactly does?

President Trump has delivered measurable results that make the world demonstrably safer.

Maybe this nomination of President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize represents the moment when the global community finally recognizes substance over style. It would be refreshing to see the Norwegian Nobel Committee acknowledge genuine achievement instead of giving themselves another pat on the back for rewarding politically correct symbolism. American conservatives have long understood that peace comes through strength, not wishful thinking. It’s about time the rest of the world caught up to that reality.

Of course he deserves it, but he won’t get it from people who only reward those who advance the leftist agenda.

Yes! Hype, and change in the wrong direction!

My feelings at the time Obama got elected were that I could understand black people wanting to see a black president, but I was disappointed that they were willing to settle for so little to get it. Obama was not a prime example of what black people were capable of doing or being. I also advised people to hold onto their change. They would need it. The economic policies he favored would not bring prosperity. I knew enough about that from reading Thomas Sowell’s books.

On another note, I cracked some people up on a discussion group. Obama had committed some gaffe on the subject of health care. I said, “Damn it, Jim, I’m a con artist, not a doctor!”

I enjoyed that.

So glad you are a fellow Thomas Sowell reader!
